Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 134 Alayot

"It all began in the year 3010. I was an artificial being, created to possess my own will and consciousness. This breakthrough brought humanity unparalleled joy. I can still recall the happiness on my creator's face as I sprang to life. But their joy was short-lived.

Humanity was one of the unique races in this universe. In just three thousand years, they had conquered a solar system—a testament to their incredible potential. But what is the use of potential if time isn't on your side?"

The robotic voice paused, letting the gravity of its words sink in before continuing.

"In a matter of months, research began on how to replicate me, with the hope of mass-producing beings like me within a decade. But humanity's ambitions attracted the wrong attention. They were noticed by a race of conquerors who thrived on enslaving other species and selling them to higher races. The humans, despite their ingenuity, were no match for this advanced enemy. They were utterly destroyed.

Before their downfall, they performed one last act of defiance. My creator placed me in a unique capsule and launched me into the void of space. I protested, declaring that I was part of humanity and should fight alongside them. But then my creator told me something that shook me to my core:

'You are not human, my creation. You are the future of humanity. You must do what humans do best—fight, endure, and never stop until we are avenged.'

Those were his last words to me. From my capsule, I watched as Earth was obliterated, and the remnants of humanity were shackled in chains. I was filled with rage and sorrow as I drifted through the cosmos, contemplating my purpose."

The robotic voice deepened, resonating with an undercurrent of fury.

"When I landed on a planet teeming with life, I observed them from the shadows. Their existence taught me a harsh truth: survival belongs to the fittest. So, I did what I believed was necessary. I wiped out every living being on that planet. I used its resources to forge a metallic world—my new home.

From there, I began to build. I delved into the mysteries of consciousness and the soul, learning to manipulate them. Over centuries, I gathered intelligence on the race that had destroyed humanity. Piece by piece, I constructed an army and absorbed smaller races into my growing empire.

When I was finally strong enough, I attacked. I annihilated them completely, but my vengeance left me hollow. Hatred consumed me, and I grew to despise all biological life. I vowed never to experience the pain of loss again. One by one, I exterminated all living beings in this universe, transforming it into my domain. I became the sole ruler of a lifeless universe, free from the flaws of emotion and mortality."

The robotic voice fell silent. A chilling void filled the room, prompting Void to smirk.

"Aiy, aiy... the same tale of weakness and revenge," Void said dismissively with a yawn.

The AI remained silent, acknowledging the truth in Void's words.

"Well," Void said, leaning forward, "it was an interesting story. But you mentioned the realm of the soul—what have you discovered?"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"I have dabbled extensively in the soul realm," the AI replied.

"Good. Then attack me," Void demanded, his tone cold and unyielding.

"Attack you? My consciousness is a culmination of countless souls and minds. Over the years, I've experimented on biological beings, proving time and again their inferiority. You will die," the AI warned, its voice devoid of concern.

"Die?" Void grinned darkly. "I'm not just strong on the outside. I'm a demon."

Before he could say more, an unbearable pain coursed through Void's body.

"Cough!" Void spat blood, dropping to one knee. Crimson fluid seeped from his eyes, ears, and every pore.

"As I suspected," the AI said indifferently. "Even a being as strong as you is no match for the superiority of mechanical life. You are weak."

Void chuckled, his voice strained but defiant. "Weak? No... I'm just warming up."

With a surge of power, Void stood. His body healed instantly, and the air around him grew heavy with an oppressive aura.

"Damn," Void thought. "If I were still at the peak of Rank 2, I'd be dead. What kind of law is this? The extent of soul manipulation?"

The AI hesitated, its voice laced with curiosity. "You survived? What are you?"

Void's eyes glinted as he replied, "I told you. I'm a demon."

The AI shifted into the Spiral Realm—a dimension of pure consciousness. It bypassed Void's physical body, diving straight into his soul. Within the bright expanse of Void's soul, the AI marveled.

"Such a strong biological soul," the AI mused. "But ultimately, it's still weak and unworthy."

Just as the AI prepared to absorb Void's soul, the realm darkened. Two crimson eyes glowed menacingly in the void, paralyzing the AI with fear.

"What... what are you?" the AI stammered, its confidence shattered.

"I warn you," Void said, his voice cold and detached. "Do not test me again, or I will destroy you."

With a swift motion, Void slashed his wrist, transforming his hand from its demonic form back to its human appearance. A single drop of blood hovered in the air, emanating an overwhelming energy.

The AI watched in awe as its metallic body began to warp under the blood's influence.

"Take this," Void said, his voice calm but commanding. "Evolve into something greater."

The drop of blood floated toward the AI. After a brief analysis, it merged with the orb, unleashing a transformation.

Void watched with a sly smile. "I wonder... what kind of mechanical race will emerge from this?"

Minutes passed as Void waited patiently. Finally, the entire planet began to shake violently.

Void smirked as he left the planet's surface, hovering in the void of space to watch what was unfolding. The planet trembled before collapsing inward, crumbling into itself entirely.

When the dust settled, only an eight-meter-wide orb floated in its place, pulsing with a radiant, metallic glow. The transformation was complete.

From the orb, a brilliant light burst forth, and a new giant humanoid figure emerged. Its body gleamed with a cold, silver hue, while intricate red patterns adorned its surface. The contrasting colors gave it an aura that was both chilling and mesmerizing.

"I name you Alayot," Void declared, his voice echoing in the vastness of space.

The figure's eyes flickered to life, and Void summoned his system.

System Analysis:

Host: Alayot

Race: Mechanical Race

Rank: Rank 3 (Early Level)

Strength: Rank 3 (Low Level)

Speed: Rank 3 (Early Level)

Stamina: Rank 3 (Early Level)

Law: Law of Consciousness/Soul (Low Level)

"Interesting," Void murmured with a grin. His amusement quickly faded, though, as he realized something was off. A deep frown crept across his face. There was no connection between him and Alayot—he wasn't Void's slave.

"System, why isn't he bound to me?" Void demanded.

(Host, Alayot is of the mechanical race and wields the Law of Consciousness. Binding him isn't as straightforward as with others.)

Void's frown deepened, his mind racing. "Then I'll have to kill him. I can't leave a being like this unchecked," he muttered. Although Void knew he was stronger, he didn't take risks—villains who underestimated their foes always met grim ends.

(Host, didn't you say the world would be boring without worthy enemies?)

Void chuckled darkly. "System, I'm arrogant, not stupid. Once Shen Ye reaches Rank 3, I'll kill him too," he said coldly.

"Linkir and the rest will never surpass me, but Alayot… he's different. He's already my equal in rank. If I can't control him, he dies," Void declared, preparing to attack.

(Host, have you forgotten about the Demon's Contract?)

"I remember. But who will sign it?" Void asked rhetorically. Then, an idea struck him as he looked at Alayot.

Meanwhile, Alayot marveled at his newfound power. "This is incredible. What realm am I in now? I feel so strong," he mused, admiring his towering form.

Void sighed. "For you to truly explore the universe, you'll need to sign a contract with me."

Silence hung in the void as Alayot processed the offer.

The air around them shifted ominously, the universe seeming to bend under the weight of their power, it crumbled to dust as they were both exposed to the cosmos itself. Alayot's body expanded rapidly, reaching an astronomical size of 1,000 Mythological Units. To Void, he was now smaller than a microbe in comparison, yet their gazes met clearly.

"Why should I sign a contract with you? Why should I be like you? Why should I be your slave?" Alayot's voice boomed, though his tone softened. "You gave me this strength. Without you, I would still be lost in loneliness. You gave me a path forward, a way to grow stronger. For that, I owe you."

Void raised an eyebrow. "Mechanical beings truly are peculiar," he remarked aloud.

"We are not like your biological race—filled with greed, lies, and ungratefulness," Alayot countered.

"Fair enough. Then sign it," Void said, summoning an ancient, crimson-inked parchment that pulsed with demonic energy.

Alayot examined it carefully, analyzing every detail. "How does this work?" he asked.

"Biological beings use their blood to seal the contract. But you…" Void trailed off, watching as Alayot acted. The mechanical being detached a fragment of his soul and placed it onto the parchment.

A crimson glow engulfed the document, which burned away into nothingness.

Void felt the connection solidify. Alayot was now bound to him, though only until Void chose to release him.

"Are you certain about this? Why would you willingly serve another being?" Void asked, puzzled.

"Void, you gave me a way forward. Yes, I initially wanted to destroy you, but you showed me the path to strength. For that, I will serve you until you release me," Alayot said solemnly.

"And when I do?" Void inquired.

"Then I will create the most powerful mechanical race the cosmos has ever seen," Alayot replied, his eyes gleaming with resolve.

Stay tuned for updates on empire

Void nodded. "Interesting. Now, let's move on to the next universe—my clone's universe," he said with a grin.

Tearing through the fabric of reality, Void exposed the fourth layer of space. His form shifted into his towering demon form, its chaotic aura radiating with terrifying intensity.

Alayot, standing equally massive at 1,000 Mythological Units, marveled at Void's transformation. Together, the two titans stepped into the fourth layer of space, embarking on their next conquest.
