Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 139 the master behind it

"Done," Sun Wukong said, looking at the cities and villages destroyed. If he had been a bit late, these pests would have infested everywhere. With a grin, Sun Wukong walked toward a particular place. This place had a breath of life that could make anyone more youthful.

Looking with his glowing golden eyes, Sun Wukong saw the disruption in space.

"This is the other side of the universe. Be careful, don't go in yet. Let that demon come first. The Rank 3 being might be inside," Titan Soul advised him.

Over the years, the two had become familiar with each other, and Titan Soul had started treating Sun Wukong as his junior brother.

"Erm, I know, but the question is, how will I inform Void? That Rank 3 being will be angry. He might come at any time," Sun Wukong said.

"It's fine. I guess I'll have to make a move when the time comes," Titan Soul comforted him.

"Ha, I wonder how surprised Void will be when he sees my strength," Sun Wukong said, disappearing.

At a horse stable, a middle-aged man frowned.

"All those beings from other worlds have been wiped out by the god of this universe?" the man muttered, frowning.

This man wasn't a normal creature of this universe or even the universe of Darklord. He was a clone of the Rank 3 being.

"I see... it seems that method won't work," the man said, stroking his beard. "Alas, the main body will have to directly attack this universe then," he added as he entered the stable. With a smile, he resumed taking care of the horses.

************

In the cosmos, there existed a universe 80% similar to the one Earth resided in. At its core was the body of a giant being.

This being was humanoid but had six arms. It wore dark armor and wielded six different weapons: mostly swords but also an axe and a spear.

The being had its eyes closed, as it had been for a long time. Suddenly, they opened.

"The... plan failed?" a deep, reverberating voice echoed in space as the being moved for the first time in ages.

A huge surge of information entered its mind.

"Hmm, I see," the being said.

"I've been asleep for too long... that injury," it thought.

This being had been recovering energy from a wound it suffered fighting another Rank 3 being. Its plan was to devour this universe to recover, then use Void's universe to heal fully. But now, that plan was ruined.

"I'll have to accelerate it. Too bad I'll lose a lot of energy during the conversion," the being said as the universe began to crumble.

The being stood alone in the cosmos, its size starting to increase until it reached one thousand Mythological Units.

**************

Deep in space within Void's universe, Sun Wukong sat on a throne, listening to the report of one of the Void Race members when he suddenly felt a chill.

Frowning, Sun Wukong heard Titan Soul's voice.

"The Rank 3 being is here," Titan Soul said as Sun Wukong looked up slowly.

His throne rested on a silan platform made of dark stones.

Looking up, Sun Wukong saw a massive body outside the universe. Standing from his throne, the Void Race members around him growled, sensing the immense threat.

Sun Wukong moved slowly toward the edge of the universe, his strides covering billions of light-years. Stretching out his right hand toward his ear, he clamped two fingers together and summoned his golden staff.

The two-meter-long golden staff appeared as Sun Wukong's size increased to 700 meters with the staff increasing in size too.

A thin membrane separated the massive body from Sun Wukong. That membrane was the crystal wall of the universe.

"Are you sure you want to test his strength? You can't even scratch him," Titan Soul said.

"I just want to test him. I want to see how strong he is. I mean, if you were to make a move, you'd probably kill him outright," Sun Wukong said with a grin.

"Alright, I'll rescue you if I have to. Go ahead," Titan Soul said.

"Hehe, thank you," Sun Wukong said, his expression turning serious.

"So it was you who ruined my plan," the being said, staring at the marble in front of him. Inside, he saw a tiny monkey with a weak aura.

"Yes, I'm Sun Wukong," Sun Wukong replied as his quasi-Rank 3 aura spread out.

Beings across the universe looked up. On different planets, the strongest individuals sensed something and turned in the same direction.

In space, an old man and a small girl paused.

"Grandpa, what's that?" the girl asked, her body trembling in fear.

"That is a powerhouse releasing his aura... the aura of a god," the old man said with a smile.

"Grandpa, that's amazing! Can I be that strong?" the little girl asked excitedly.

"Well, you can, but you'll have to work hard," the old man replied.

"Yes, I will!" the little girl said with determination.

"Hahaha, good girl," the old man laughed, patting her head.

The little girl looked forward with a smile. "I'll be that strong soon," she thought, her resolve firm.

***********

"Ha, what do you quasi-Rank 3 beings think? You weak, puny creatures believe you're as strong as Rank 3 beings—or even close?" the being laughed loudly.

Even now, Sun Wukong could only see a dark mass everywhere. He couldn't tell if it was the leg, hand, torso, or head of the being.

The size difference was too much. Sun Wukong frowned at the remark. He believed he was at least somewhat close to the strength of Rank 3 beings.

"Let me show you something. This will be the perfect time for you to get as strong as you can," the being said with a chuckle.

"Use all your trump cards, and you might die a bit slower," the being mocked.

"Here it comes," Sun Wukong said as he closed his eyes.

"Time to use this trick," he thought as his aura flared.

There's a reason why Sun Wukong is called the God of this universe.

BOOM... CRUMBLE... RUMBLE...

The entire universe shook as the chains of law covering it grew thinner and thinner, while the orbs of law began to move in unison.

A massive amount of energy was being transferred into Sun Wukong's body.

"Law of Strength," Sun Wukong said as his size began to spike. He started growing: one thousand meters, two, ten thousand meters, one thousand kilometers...

Sun Wukong grew until he was one Mythological Unit in size, his colossal form spanning trillions of trillions of light-years.

Finally outside the universe, he could see the vast expanse of the cosmos. It was a dangerous place for him. In a multiverse, it would have been fine, but this was a lone universe in the endless cosmos. Without the crystal wall protecting him, a being lower than Rank 3 would die immediately.

Thanks to the universe shielding him, he could remain in the cosmos for a brief moment.

Yet, gazing upon the true size of his opponent made Sun Wukong tremble in terror. He wasn't even as large as the being's foot.

"Is this your most powerful form?" the being asked, its voice laced with interest.

"Yes," Sun Wukong replied with a sigh. His mind was in turmoil, and he smiled bitterly. Even with the support of an entire universe, this was his limit.

"Okay then... Die," the being said as an attack appeared out of nowhere.

BOOM!

Sun Wukong was sent flying backward. His massive form began to shrink as he re-entered the universe, space itself shattering around him.

"Huh? You're still alive?" the being asked, momentarily surprised as it noticed the glow surrounding Sun Wukong.

Reverting to his 700-meter-tall form, Sun Wukong chuckled.

"You're right—I am nowhere near the strength of a Rank 3 being," he admitted, staring at the enormous figure outside the universe.

In that brief moment, he felt as if he had reached 50% of his Half-Law state—perhaps even 60% or 70%. That strength was incredible. Compared to this power, his former self would be as insignificant as an ant.

"Who are you?" the being suddenly asked, sensing that someone far stronger must have intervened to save Sun Wukong.

"Who's who?" a deep voice echoed as Sun Wukong grinned.

The creator of this universe had returned. Void was back.

"He's here," the Titan Soul thought.

Outside the universe, the six-armed being turned around to face a new presence. There stood Void—a figure with six wings, two horns, a long tail, and a menacing grin.

Void's gaze rested on the strange being with six arms.

"So, you're the one who wanted to destroy my universe?" Void asked, his voice calm but cold.

The six-armed being frowned, silent for a moment.

"I didn't know a Rank 3 being created this universe," the being finally said.

"Too bad you realized it too late—because you're going to die," Void replied indifferently.

Earlier...

Void and Alayot were in the fourth layer of space, moving rapidly towards the world where Kai resided when Void received a system notification.

(Host, your universe is being attacked by a Rank 3 being.)

"What?! System, how can I get back quickly?" Void asked, frowning.

If he didn't return soon, his universe would be destroyed—and Void wasn't happy about that.

"Ha! Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" Void asked with a smile.

(You didn't ask.)

"F you," Void muttered with a chuckle.

"Alayot, we'll have to take a slight detour. I want to test your strength," Void said with a grin.

The metallic figure came to a halt as Alayot looked at Void curiously.

"Where are we going, Master?" Alayot asked.

"My universe," Void replied as a new portal opened in the fourth layer of space.

Both Void and Alayot stepped through it, disappearing and reappearing in the cosmos where Void's universe resided.
