Chapter 51 The king's reason
Void watched Linkir and Anya sparring. They were both at Rank 1, early level, and to Void, it would only take a single attack to end them both. But for now, it was a mild distraction from his boredom.
Being a demon, Void wouldn't lie—sometimes, it's dull without the conveniences of technology. He missed watching TV, chatting with people, seeing couples get together, and playing popular games. *(Let's avoid mentioning any specific games to dodge the copyright issue.)*
Despite being a full-fledged demon, Void still found it odd to remain idle while a war loomed. But one advantage was that time passed more quickly for him now. He could sleep for what felt like eternity if he chose to. Yet, the idea of this upcoming war stirred some excitement in him. Void wanted to join, but there was a problem—he couldn't go out as a demon.
The Giant King feared Void's presence, knowing that as a quasi-Rank 2 being, Void's involvement would upset the balance of power.
Even though Rank 2 beings were powerhouses, the true top forces in this war hadn't made their move yet. The gap within Rank 2 was vast:
- **Early Rank 2 beings** could travel thousands of light years in a second.
- **Low-level Rank 2 beings** could cover tens of thousands of light years.
- **Middle-level Rank 2s** had the terrifying ability to destroy entire galaxies, traveling hundreds of thousands of light years per second.
At **middle-level Rank 2**, a single attack could shatter a galaxy. These beings would serve as generals in the upcoming battle. *(This is the Rank for galaxy-level anime or movies characters here.)*
**High-level Rank 2s** were even more monstrous, capable of obliterating galaxies over a million light years in size. Their speed was equally fearsome, moving at close to a million light years per second. But the most terrifying of all were the **peak Rank 2s**. These creatures stood at the absolute limit of what the universe could handle, wielding the power to erase clusters of billions of galaxies.
They had perfected dozens of elements and could manipulate reality itself, bending it to their will. With their blood, they could even recreate their entire race, ensuring their survival.
*( Compare them to cultivation ranks of immortal beings. let me know what you think in the comments!)*
Now, we reach the **quasi-Rank 3 beings**, also known as quasi-law beings. Their power was so dangerous that even a single clash could tear the universe apart. That's why they fought in the second layer of space, where Rank 2 peak-level beings could stay longer to study half-laws and evolve their mastery into full laws.
*(Think of Super Saiyan God Goku when he fought Beerus, who used less than 10% of his strength.)*
**Quasi-Rank 3 beings** mastered their laws to 50% before entering the third layer of space. Any being without this level of control would perish instantly. Here, creatures like the Void Race and phantoms roamed—abominations that devoured laws themselves.
In the **third layer of space**, only those who have mastered laws to 50% or more can survive. It's also where the origin of the universe resides, with pressure so intense that even mentioning a Rank 3 being's name could attract their attention.
At the **legendary Rank 3** level, chaos ruled. These beings could alter the past, present, and future, interfere with fate, and manipulate entire universes. The sheer amount of energy inside their bodies was comparable to that of the universe itself. *(This is where you'd find gods of destruction, and MUI Goku and Jiren. Anti-matter...etc. all universal level beings.
Beings capable of destroying a universe.)*
Even Rank 3 beings, though incredibly powerful, followed their own emotions and did whatever they pleased, existing far beyond the constraints of time or space. If a universe didn't evolve into a **middle-level universe**, it would eventually collapse after 1,000 mythological units, dying out just like stars and planets.
The only way for a universe to evolve was for its inhabitants to reach Rank 2 en masse. But even then, some universes failed to fully ascend, becoming semi-middle-level universes—ruins that drifted in the third layer of space, occasionally opening portals to other worlds.
Void stood there, reflecting on all of this, feeling both insignificant and powerful at the same time. He wasn't at the level of a universe-shaking force yet, but in a galaxy-scale comparison, he was formidable. He could defeat beings like Odin, Thanos, and Gojo—unless, of course, they were hax beings created directly by their universe's origin.
This beings are almost unbeatable in their universes but when brought out to other universes their power reduces. Example is saitama. A being who's power was gotten from the universe origin itself.
Void briefly considered naming a particular character (toon character)but stopped himself. Something told him that mentioning their name would bring unwanted trouble. *(Let's leave those names out for now.)*
Meanwhile, elsewhere on a planet resembling Earth…
A being , standing beside an android, both preparing for battle. As they readied themselves, the being suddenly sneezed.
**"Achoo…"**
The android stood there, dumbfounded as the mountain behind them vanished completely, erased by the sneeze. The being rubbed their nose and grinned.
**"Who's thinking about me and my hair…?"** He asked, his bald head gleaming in the sunlight.

"We're moving out. Transform into your other form," Void commanded, his size shrinking until he stood at 1.85 meters tall, resembling a human.
"I've grown taller again…" Void mused, briefly glancing at his new form. Already dressed, thanks to their incredible speed—at least as fast as light—he tossed clothing to both Anya and Linkir: simple shirts and trousers.
"You both look good," Void commented, eyeing the two slaves. Their figures were highlighted by the simple outfits.
Anya and Linkir exchanged amazed glances. Despite Void's slightly dark complexion, his striking features and charming smile could woo any girl. His commanding presence was undeniable.
Void observed them, noting Linkir's wolf ears and cute tail, and Anya's adorable teenage features. His expression shifted as he joked coldly, "I'm like their father, ready to collect gifts as I marry them off."
His chilling tone sent a shiver down their spines, but he continued musing aloud, his thoughts racing. "I could marry them off to powerful beings... Yes, a new goal. A side project for when I'm bored: gathering more slaves. The stronger I become, the better the conversion to an Aeron will be. An Aeron… no one can have the primordial demon bloodline unless Rank 4 beings intervene.
They can remove it directly."
He grinned, imagining his future plans. "The Giant King will become an Aeron—and worse, my slave. Anyone converted by me is under my command. Their life or death is but a thought."
Void's grin widened, unsettling the girls as his sinister thoughts took shape. "I'll marry off the females to powerful beings in exchange for souls, and the males… they'll become destroyers, their names shaking the very Omniverses. Ah, what a brilliant idea! I'm a genius! But first…"
Void looked down at Anya and Linkir, both staring at him in fright, his grin having scared them.
"Well, first I need to get strong enough," he chuckled. "In any case, life from now on is going to be… fun."
This very declaration would soon contribute to the group of beings known as Chaos, all serving under a single entity: the primordial demon.

***At the Giant King's Abode***
The Giant King sat on his throne, deep in thought.
That parcel… as small as it seemed, he knew he couldn't harm it. Even though he saw it physically, it was as if it existed in another dimension, like a projection from the fourth layer of space or beyond.
What made it scarier was the feeling he had when the parcel was in front of him—an eye, a single eye, watching him. Any misstep, and he would've died like a weakling. The pressure he felt was immense, but he kept his composure because he was a Rank 2 being and a king.
The moment he signed and the parcel burned away, the pressure vanished. The eye was gone.
His desire to become a primordial demon was simple: with great power came great weakness. His life was nearing its end. Thousands of years ago, he had entered the ruins of a powerful being. Greedy for power, he explored it alone, gaining many treasures. Strangely, it wasn't guarded by beasts or space rifts, which made him uneasy.
Upon leaving, however, he encountered a cluster of law. Being a peak Rank 2, facing such a law with his body was a terrible idea, but he had no choice. Crossing it cost him a significant reduction in his lifespan. In a few decades, he would die, and his race had no other peak Rank 2 beings. Without him, they would be devoured.
Thus, he had no choice but to sign the contract with Void. The other demons couldn't convert him, but this one… this demon was different. He could feel the bloodline's pressure—the Primordial Demon's bloodline.
If he wanted to survive and gain the power to protect his people, he had to take the risk.

**Clack.**
The hall's doors opened, and a 10-foot-tall giant entered. One of the king's sons and the strongest of his offspring, though still young at only 5,000 years old.
"Father, I found something," the giant said, kneeling on one knee.
"Speak," the king said, pride evident in his voice.
"A being descended near our kingdom," his son explained.
The king frowned. "Don't tell me it's one of those angels from the divine plane?"
"No, Father. This isn't a divine aura… but a chaotic one."
The king's eyes widened. "I see… describe what you saw."
As the giant described the event, the king's realization dawned on him. "That was no ordinary being… that was a Primordial Demon. That was Void," the king said with a dark laugh, confident now that Void hadn't lied to him.
