Ascension of the Monster Queen

After the king was sent flying by his own attack, he regained his balance and landed not far from where the others were as well as the beast and Nessa glanced at him.

The king exhaled deeply as he looked up and his kids looked at each other with slightly worried expressions and Nessa noticed, but from the king's current presence, she could very well tell, that he could defeat the beast on his own.

"Do you think he will be fine?" Nios asked and Reign looked at him, then sighed before glancing at their father and his brows furrowed.

"He probably will, father has fought many fights before, it's not like this is his first time," Reign responded.

"Also, he won't have said he would do it if he couldn't, he only fights when he knows he can win, well, most of the time from what I have seen of course," Mikala said and Nios nodded then sighed and Mikala placed her hand on his shoulder before looking at her father.

"I am sure that he will be just fine," She said and Reign nodded as he looked at his sister then his brows furrowed and a gentle smile appeared on his face.

'Well, she has really grown after so long, that's nice, she is starting to look more like a strong princess now,' Reign thought then Nios patted his sister on his shoulder and she glanced at him.

"What is it?" She asked and he smiled at her.

"You have changed a little bit, haven't you?" He asked and she chuckled then looked at Nessa, as did Nios and his brows furrowed.

"Is it because of her?" Nios asked and she nodded then he peeked at Nessa and scoffed.

"I see, I don't know how she may have helped you but since it's quite obvious that she did, we must thank her," Nios said.

"You are right, we should," She replied and he chuckled then they looked at their father and at the same time, they felt the little vibration coming from where the beast was.

Everyone looked in its direction and the king's brows furrowed as he looked at it as it stood up and the others exchanged glances.

"Oh no, from the way it's behaving, it seems very angry," Mikala said and the beast roared, causing some of them to flinch and Nessa glanced at the beast then sighed.

"It's back up, this one is strong, more like tough, do you guys see its skin, it's basically one of its many protections, pierce through it and see how much damage it causes," Nios said and Nessa glanced at him then at the beast which leaped into the air and was about to land with an attack on the king.

However, the king jumped out of the beast's way fast then spun around mid-air, releasing an attack that pushed the beast away from him then he landed on the ground and pointed his sword at it, with a piercing look in his eyes.

"I will kill you for attacking innocent people, why would a beast like yourself be here in the first place? This is the first time, I don't like this, not a bit," He said and Nessa glanced at the beast and she smiled when she saw that it was already badly injured from the king's attack.

"Come at me," The king said as he rushed towards the beast, which began to only target him, since he found him to be a threat due to the energy his body was giving off and Nessa exhaled deeply.

As the king and the beast was fighting, the demon kept on looking around and when his eyes were set on a few, he exhaled deeply then saw Nessa and he scoffed.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Things are not getting any better, we are getting closer as well, aren't we, Nessa?" The demon asked as he appeared behind her, at the same time, she turned around and he grabbed onto her right hand and she looked at him then scoffed.

"I know, nothing is getting better and I know that we are getting closer to the full truth with every clue that we get, some of their men are unfortunately quite sloppy and I don't think their leader, whomever it may be, doesn't know," She responded and he nodded.

"You may be right about that, they have a lot to do and some are unable to full clean, being a villain can be so much work, huh?" He asked and she glanced at him.

"Villain huh?" She scoffed as she turned to look at the king, with the demon still on to her right hand and he looked at it then raised her hand up and leaned in closer to her.

"Is this okay?" He asked and she glanced at him with her eyes narrowed.

"Don't push it, demon," She responded and he chuckled.

"All right, I won't, sorry about that," He said then released her hand and she chuckled.

At the same time, the king sent the creature flying past Nessa and she turned around to look at it immediately as it crashed into the ground and the king flinched when he saw them standing near.

"Please be careful," He said and Nessa smiled at him then nodded and he exhaled deeply, pleased that neither of them got hurt when he sent the beast their way.

When the creature got back up, the king looked at him with his eyes not going anywhere else and just when it jumped up into the air, the king jumped at the very same time. Enjoy new adventures from empire

"This is it for you, rest in peace," He said as he landed an attack on top of the creature, sending him crashing into the ground with an explosion that shook part of the ground and even the king was sent flying from the energy that hit him.

"That's it, the fight is now over," The king said when he landed on the ground and the dust surrounding the creature, cleared up and he looked at the beast's body, laying not far before him and everyone stared at it and the king's eyes narrowed.
