"Papa, what happened to that uncle?"

Little Jia jumped off the bench and asked as she saw Ye Qian walk to her with a gentle smile on his face.

"He went to where he should be sweetheart."

Ye Qian said as he picked up the little girl in one arm before picking up her bag in the other.

"Ohh, I felt like he was going to take me away from you."

The little girl shuddered for a moment before she placed her head close to his chest as if deeply saddened by the mere thought of being taken away from her Papa.

"Haha, how can I allow anyone to do that, you do remember what I promised right?"

"Hehe, yes," the little girl giggled seeing his finger tickle her.

Ye Qian nodded before raising his brows, "And..."

"And Papa never breaks his promise."

"CHHIIII"

"Yes yes, Feifei also doesn't."

The little girl nodded at the chirp, gently rubbing her friend's small head, eliciting a purr from her.

"Alright, let's go, we have people waiting at the old age home and we also need to get a cake on the way."

"Huh, a cake?" the little girl asked in confusion, her brows raised high.

"CHIIIII!"

Feifei's eyes shone with light as she looked at Ye Qian as if he was a god willing to give her a boon.

"Does anyone have a birthday?" the little girl asked before counting on her fingers and shaking her head in a frown.

"Yes, it is, but not any of your grandpa or grandma." Ye Qian chuckled, knowing what she had been counting.

The little girl had started recalling the birthdays of every grandpa and grandma in the old age home, thinking that anyone might have a birthday today.

"Huh, then who?"

Jia tilted her head while Ye Qian said.

"I will tell you on the way."

With that, they headed to the old age home, making sure that they would pass by the street that had a cake shop on the way.

While Ye Qian and his daughter were choosing a cake in a nearby shop, in a large metropolis city of Sinju, where was the main company of the Guo Pharma.

In a towering building reaching a seventy floors tall, a middle aged man, stood facing the glass that stretching from the floor to the ceiling, overlooking the cityscape.

But like anyone would think that he was gazing at the city, the man was actually looking at his own reflection.

"I wonder if that is the reason for my change?" muttered the middle aged man as he keenly observed his face which had numerous wrinkles just a few weeks ago, and now he could rarely see one.

"The pill he gave me is like an elixir of youth," as he muttered, a sigh escaped his lips.

"If this had happened to him a decade or two ago, he would have used any means to get his hands on such a medicine, but now, things were different, he was no longer attacked to mere mundane possessions.

Besides, the memories of a few weeks ago just didn't allow his heart to dare to think of exposing such a medicine to the world.

While he was in deep thought, his phone rang.

As he glanced at the screen, he noticed that it was a video call and had come from none other than his old pal.

He picked it up and sure enough, a man's face greeted him.

"Hey old man!"

Guo Yulao rolled his eyes after hearing his friend's remark.

"Yeah, call me that again."

This man was none other than Guo Yulao, the one who had come to Ye Qian's house a few weeks ago in searching for a doctor that would help him treat his friend's stange condition.

And indeed, the condition had been treated and it wasn't anything that anyone of them had imagine.

It had turned out that his friend was being poisoned with mysterious, almost magical ways.

Ye Qian, the doctor whom Guo Yulao had fatefully met, while he was acting as a taxi driver to get out of the high status life had helped his friend remove the poison and also gave them mysterious pellets that almost seemed like glass beads.

And after consuming it about a week ago, the changes had shocked both of them.

"Haha, I see that you have taken the pellet."

Wang Xie, the old man Wang, chuckled while nodding in realization seeing the changes in his friend's features.

"Hmm, I had no other choice, after he gave it to me, I noticed that it had started to diminish gradually with each day that I pondered if I should study it or consume it."

"And thanks to you that I did it, if not, I don't know if I could have regretted anything more than not consuming it while it was with me."

"Haha, nothing to be bothered about, I told you, the pill shouldn't be known, even if it might do much greater good for the humanity, it's not ours to have the say if it should be used in such means, and if others with ill intentions get to know who is responsible for such miraculous elixirs, I don't doubt we will be shouldering more sins than ever."

Wang Xie said and by the end of his words, his face turned serious.

Both of them were well aware what kind of uproar such a medicine would cause in the world, and likewise, there won't be any less number of people who would be willing to go to any lengths to procure it.

And recalling the faces of the children they had met not long ago and had been left with a very deep impression on them, none of them were willing to shoulder the burden of bringing any kind of harm upon them.

This was especially true for Guo Yulao, who had witnessed the distressed looks on the faces of the three little girls when their father was pulled from the car by the looters.
