“But what does this have to do with the thirteenth mountain?” The princess asked.

“Because we only have eight lakes, the ninth is missing, or maybe the first.” Mu Hu shook his head.

“Your Immortal Hall has a source, maybe that’s the last lake.” The princess said.

“Perhaps, perhaps not. My master told me of the source as well while my grandmaster talked about how all eight lakes might have started from one, and then Desolate Frontier came from them. Of course, this is just speculation again.” Mu Hu said.

“I thought Desolate Domain was created by Desolate Ancestor. Don’t these two stories conflict?” The princess said.

“No.” Li Qiye said: “This place wasn’t called Desolate Frontier before, it was rebuilt out of necessity for a larger momentum. The previous one didn’t allow this level of prosperity and fortune.”

“What fortune are you referring to? The nine lakes?” Mu Hu asked for more details.

Li Qiye answered with a smile again.

“No one had seen this last lake before?” The princess asked.

“And this applies to the thirteenth mountain as well.” Orchidcore said.
