Chapter 360 Catching cloud cows
Far ahead, Master Bao stood observing a Cloud Cow grazing peacefully. It stood over five meters tall, with two sharp horns protruding from its head. Its thick, cotton-like fur made its body appear extraordinarily large, resembling a sturdy moving house. The cow moved slowly, its steps shaking the ground as the wind brushed through its dense white fur.
"Its level is quite high," Master Bao muttered quietly. He squinted, reading the Cloud Cow's status displayed on his panel.
He turned to check on his team's readiness. Two people held a large rope about five centimeters thick, while the rest carried smoke bombs. Their faces were tense, but their determination was evident. With their current capabilities, taking down one Cloud Cow was a major challenge. Even if they succeeded, they might only manage to capture one cow—not enough to prepare for tomorrow's grand event.
"Are you ready?" Master Bao shouted, his voice echoing across the green grassland.
"Ready!" The youths raised their thumbs in unison. Yet behind their brave expressions, unease lingered in their hearts. They knew the risks, but as Master Bao had said, this was a golden opportunity to reap great rewards.
Master Bao nodded firmly. He began activating his equipment, which started glowing with a bright green light, emanating an aura of power around him. The pan in his hand emitted a blue glow, capturing everyone's attention.
"Here I come!" Master Bao's shout pierced the air.
His body shot high into the sky, soaring above the massive Cloud Cow. Mid-air, his hand hurled the black pan toward the creature.
"Fire Grave!" he roared.
The black pan suddenly expanded, its diameter now exceeding ten meters. From its surface, blazing flames erupted, licking the air with searing heat. The fire glowed red and orange, creating a terrifying spectacle in the midst of the serene green island.
"He's doing it again," one of the youths whispered, his eyes fixed on the giant pan.
"Don't move recklessly," added another, his tone filled with caution. "Or we'll end up as charred ashes too."
They stood still, holding their breath, watching Master Bao's actions with intense vigilance. One wrong move, and they knew the consequences could be dire.
In the air, the fiery pan sped swiftly, carrying a deadly threat. The Cloud Cow, engrossed in its grazing, remained unaware of the impending danger. A tense silence enveloped the youths behind. Their eyes were glued to the flames now mere moments away from the giant creature's back.
As a herbivorous monster, the Cloud Cow lacked a combat instinct. Only when the pan was ten meters away did a faint sense of danger register. Its movements halted. Its large jaw slowly stopped chewing the grass. Its usually calm eyes blinked nervously, sensing something amiss. But it was already too late.
The pan struck with tremendous speed, hitting the Cloud Cow squarely on its head.

A massive explosion shook the area. The Cloud Cow, which had stood as solid as a hill, collapsed sideways with a resounding crash. The ground where it fell was scorched. The air was filled with a sharp aroma, a mix of burnt meat and thick smoke rising into the sky.
Notifications immediately appeared on Master Bao's panel:
[ Inflicted 1400 damage on (Cloud Cow) ]
[ Applied burn effect on (Cloud Cow) ]
[ (Cloud Cow) stunned for 5 seconds ]
"Throw the smoke bombs! Tie up that Cloud Cow!" Master Bao shouted loudly.
Hearing the command, the youths rushed forward. They deftly tossed smoke bombs around the Cloud Cow. White smoke began to envelop the area, creating an effective visual barrier to prevent other Cloud Cows from noticing what was happening. If the other cows saw, they would undoubtedly rampage, rolling uncontrollably and destroying everything in their path.
"Throw the rope!" one of the youths yelled, tossing one end of the rope to his partner across.
Another youth caught it hastily, though his movements were still clumsy.
Master Bao, observing from nearby, shook his head in frustration. "Too slow!" he shouted, running toward them. He grabbed the rope from one of the youths and began tying the Cloud Cow's hind legs with decisive and experienced movements.
"Tie its legs first! Otherwise, it'll get up!" Master Bao instructed as he reinforced the knots. But as he tried to pull the cow's legs together, the massive creature began to stir.
Grgrgrgr...
A rough rumble echoed. The Cloud Cow opened its eyes. Its gaze was sharp, filled with anger. Its enormous body trembled, followed by a loud roar that shook the air.
"Mowww!"
"Watch out! Run! It's going to roll!" Master Bao warned.
Upon hearing this, the youths scattered, fleeing in all directions.
Meanwhile, the still-prone Cloud Cow began rolling its massive body with terrifying speed. Its unpredictable movements flattened the grass, leaving a trail of bare earth stretching dozens of meters. The remaining smoke swirled with its motion.
Master Bao exhaled deeply, his hands resting on his knees. "Huff... I knew this wouldn't be easy," he muttered, half-frustrated, half-impressed by the Cloud Cow's strength.
He turned to the youths, who were still catching their breath in the distance. "Why are you all so slow?" he asked coldly, but there was no reply.
The youths' faces were filled with guilt. This was their first time hunting a Cloud Cow, and their inexperience was evident.
"It's fine," Master Bao finally said, his tone softening. "Let's get ready again."
They nodded in unison, trying to hide their embarrassment. However, seeing Master Bao's unwavering determination despite the challenges, their spirits slowly reignited.
Everyone was working extra hard today. Whether they were core members, internal members of the World Market Trade Alliance, or government officials, each person carried out their responsibilities with full dedication. Their activities aligned with the outcomes of the discussions held between Haikal and the other core members.
In every corner of the city, there was a constant bustle—reports being delivered, defensive formations being inspected, and lines of workers moving like interconnected gears, reinforcing one another.
Back in the internal chamber of the World Market Trade Alliance, Lein and Aleron had finally reached the end of their discussion.
