The Southern Coast Region of the Northern Continent has about 4.7 million square kilometers of plains and hills, which are the civilized development areas. Their technology levels are equivalent to 17th to 18th century Earth. There are about ten major countries, mostly monarchies, and noble territories are scattered throughout the region.

The population living in the Southern Coast Region accounts for over 70% of the entire population of the Emerald Sea Star, approximately 120 million people. They resemble Earth's Caucasians but with clear differences."

South of the continent are the Desert Archipelago near the Tropic of Cancer, barren and devoid of life. Beyond the archipelago lies the Southern Continent, covered with extensive rainforests and grasslands, most of which falls in the tropics. The coastal areas here have favorable natural conditions, home to a significant number of tribal societies from the South Continent.

Their race resembles the East Asian race on Earth, but their complexions are similar to the Malay race, though they are taller, with reddish-brown hair and indigo-colored eyes, and their facial features are quite distinct from those of East Asians on Earth.

With the South Continent rich in gold mines and favorable agricultural conditions, the natives of the Northern Continent have begun to colonize it. They have established sporadic colonies along the northern and western coastal areas of the South Continent and enslave the inhabitants as labor.

The Legendary Continent, located on the opposite side of the Northern and Southern Continents, is nearly 60 million square kilometers in size, larger than any continent on Earth, stretching across the northern and southern hemispheres.
