The 003 class nuclear-powered space-air carrier was a huge vessel with a full-load displacement of 320,000 tons, powered by a fusion reactor and equipped with an anti-gravity engine, allowing it free deployment in the ocean, sky, and space. Its combat ability was even comparable to some starships, even equipped with a lightweight shield system.
It had 4 20WM electromagnetic cannons and 2 electromagnetic rapid-fire cannons, 1024 universal missile launch units, and a fully enclosed hangar capable of accommodating up to 288 Killer Bee unmanned combat aircraft.
Such a type of warship was, in fact, more than sufficient for Iridium Star's own Planetary Defense Forces. Iridium Star planned to manufacture 3 of the 003 class space-air carriers for Country C. These three space-air carriers would also become the core key to Country C's leading planetary military.
The Kilo class space-air destroyer, with a full-load displacement of 15,000 tons, also employs fusion power and anti-gravity engines, serving as the armed escort for the type 003 space-air carrier. Iridium Star plans to provide a total of 30 such space-air destroyers to Country C.
As for the final model, the type 021 space-air corvette, it has a displacement of only 352 tons. Naturally, such a small hull does not use fusion power but rather high-density energy cells, similar to the J-20 and other air force aircraft, though it can also sustain a fairly long operational duration.
Equipped as well with anti-gravity engines, its speed is the fastest among the three types of space-air warships, reaching up to Mach 2. Naturally, even the type 021 space-air corvette, with its formidable maneuverability and the power of its electromagnetic cannon, would have no trouble crushing any naval vessels on Earth, including US Navy aircraft carriers.
All three types of these space-air warships can travel on the ocean surface and even submerge underwater, a capability that even Bai Zhongqi found somewhat astonishing. This ability also spelled bad news for the submarine fleet of Country C.
The Navy of Country C will gradually shift its main force to this space-air fleet, while the existing fleet will undergo significant reductions. Older escort vessels like types 051 and 053 are set to retire, and even those of a prime age like types 051B, 051C, 052, and 052B no longer have a place in combat.
The type 052C/D and 054A warships will, however, undergo modifications, as they currently represent the strongest combat capability of the Navy of Country C and cannot be immediately abandoned. With the neuron production line, the Navy is determined to stop work on the type 052D Aegis destroyers after the 18th ship and the type 054A after the 30th ship.

Except for the 039A/B/C class AIP submarines, which will still be used for training, others like the Kilo class and type 039 will inevitably be retired. The bows were flattened and straightened, with two infill decks added on the left, increasing the number of parking spots. The main carrier-based aircraft were replaced with Killer Bees, with a standard mission layout capable of carrying 50 Killer Bee fighters.
All of Country C's fighters will possess VTOL capabilities in the future, even the massive J-20evo can be deployed on carriers, rendering the less powerful Flying Shark obsolete. It is unclear whether it was sentimental reasons or other considerations, but the Navy of Country C still pleaded with Iridium Star personnel to execute a modification plan for the Flying Shark.
In the plan, the new Flying Shark will also adopt condensed energy cells and electric ion propulsion. It will have Global-Battlefield-Situation-Awareness, a new data link, cloud combat systems, a quantum computer, and an artificial intelligence assistant. As for armaments, it could carry up to 40 sophisticated missiles.
Since the bows of types 001 and 001A were straightened, the new Flying Shark was simply designed as a short takeoff/vertical landing fighter, mainly intended for short takeoffs to ensure full-load launches within less than 80 meters.
Under the new configuration, types 001 and 001A carriers could deploy up to 36 J-15s for mission deployment.
Fairly speaking, although this upgrade is significant, its effectiveness is definitely not as good as newly designed fighters. Perhaps it could defeat enemies at the level of the F-22 in beyond-visual-range air combat and dogfights, but it simply cannot compare with the J-20evo and Killer Bee.
However, this does prevent a future where the two surface carriers only deploy drones and no manned aircraft.
