Greatest Streamer System

Chapter 409 – Exhaustion

"I see. So that's the case."

"Yes. I apologize for taking your time. It seems that my event will certainly be postponed. At least it will only be realized after 'Streamer Wars' if the situation even allows it." Max lowered his gaze, feeling apologetic.

He was the one who brought up the idea to Mr. Taka who was busy only to cancel it a few minutes after that.

'Damn, I feel really bad for taking his time now.'

If not for StoneSword being so childish and scheduling the concert so short, he would be able to prepare for both the concert and his own event.

And there was no way he refused a request from his biggest sponsor, Lily's brother. Though, even without that, he would still help the concert's preparation for his girlfriend.

"No, it's not a problem at all. Rather, this is a chance." Mr. Taka pushed up his glasses and smirked.

"A chance?" Max was surprised by Mr. Taka's response.

He certainly did think about giving his proposal to StoneSword and asking him to help his event as repayment, but he never saw this as a chance. Rather…

'What chance is Mr. Taka talking about? Lily's concert will be held in VR World to accommodate many audiences. What kind of chance that I can… Wait.'

"Do you want me to get more money or reuse the concert prop for my event?"

"No, that's not what I mean." Mr. Taka shook his head, "This is a chance to put up your promotion. We will push your promotion faster than scheduled so many people will recognize you when they watch White Lily's concert. You will sing at least a song, right?"

'So that's what he meant.'

A misunderstanding. Max thought Mr. Taka still talked about his event, but he actually talked about his promotion ads instead. He felt embarrassed jumping into a conclusion like that.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

'I guess that means he doesn't necessarily care about my event right now. We do lack a lot of funds, and from the looks of it, the promotion is more important than it.'

Of course, Max knew the reason why. In the end, the event was also to get more viewers and followers, the same as promotion. But if his name wasn't spread, his event would also be useless.

"I know what you're thinking about." Mr. Taka smiled. "For now, let's focus on one thing. You're in no rush to hold the event, right? We can think where we can get the remaining funds later. Maybe many companies will give you an ad offer after the concert?

No, I am sure they will."

Once again, Max realized how lacking he was in a business department. Because of many things jumbled in his mind, his vision was narrowed. He ought to learn how to handle many things at once.

'Right. That's right. Shit. I am becoming worse day by day. Is it because I pushed myself to play games? Compared to before, my focus seems to drop considerably.

I need to re– FUCK!'

When he remembered it, he almost jumped from his seat.

'Vacation! I missed it. Fuck, damn it! I was so focused on the mission that I missed the flight. It's already 25 too, so it's already pretty late! How did I forget something so important?'

It was confirmed. He needed to rest.

"Your expression doesn't look that good, Breeze. Are you okay?" Mr. Taka asked worriedly. "Colors have been drained from your face. How about you rest at the Biozone Hotel for a while?"

"Ha-hahaha… I just realized we only have 2 weeks to prepare for the concert and I just… Yeah, I don't think I am in a good condition right now. I will take your offer to rest, Mr. Taka. I am really sorry about all of this. I will leave the promotion in your capable hands."

"Yes, take a lot of rest. Leave the promotion to me." Mr. Taka nodded and gestured for Michael to guide Max out.

"Please, right here. I have already contacted Biozone Hotel to prepare you a room."

Michael guided Max outside and even went so far as to talk to the receptionist and prepare his room. He also ordered some beverages to help him relax.

"I will call someone to look at your condition later. Maybe it's because you had just realized it, but… All the exhaustion that you accumulated came crashing at once. Your face is still so pale right now. I recommend you take a full rest today."

Exhaustion…

'Right, I've been super busy lately. I also didn't drink nutritional supplements, which was a mistake.'

"Thanks. No need to call someone, though. But I would appreciate it if you could buy me a B-Grade Nutritional Supplement."

"Please don't worry about that, it's already in the drawer beside your bed, a part of the hotel's amenities. Also, we will send a proper doctor. Your body is your asset. If you are sick, you won't be able to livestream or help prepare for the concert."

"As I said, no need. I am just exhausted. Besides, a proper doctor would be expensive, no? I have to save money–"

"Mr. Taka had already taken care of the bills. All you have to do is for the doctor to check on you."

"Grr…" Max grunted, feeling a bit scared but excited to meet a doctor again.

Scared because he was reminded of his worst 3 years in his past life. Excited because he hoped to meet a doctor that would care for him like the one from his past. Though the latter wasn't actually that exciting at all.

"Fine, just a check, alright?"

"Of course." Michael nodded, "Have a good rest."

Max nodded and entered his room, locking the door behind. He went and jumped on the bed, letting out a long sigh.

"I messed up a big time…" He murmured, his face was planted on the soft pillow. "Should I use the <Miracle Ticket> to make my vacation happen? Nah, that's wasteful. I should just schedule another vacation after the concert with Lily. Aaah, how could I forget about such things?!"

He raised his body groggily, opening the drawer beside his bed. There, B-Grade Nutritional Supplement was prepared. He immediately drank it without hesitation and slept.

"I will think about that later. Door locked. No doctor will be able to enter now." He smirked.
