Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3454 Serendipity! II

Chapter 3454  Serendipity! II

"How is the progress with the Infiniverse Megalos Seed?"

Many changes that occurred since his other half had enacted the Quintessential League of Existence.

These changes extended here as well.

|The size continues to gradually increase, Master. If more and more of its basal authority is unlocked, when it reaches the size of a World, I may be able to release those within safely.|

…!

Yes.

More and more changes continued to propagate as in a short period of time, Noah expected for him to get back every single thing and person he had lost access to!

As he sat on his throne, he clenched his fist while looking at all the monitors.

Waiting.

Preparing.

This was his conquest here as outside of this place, Ozymandias was facing an army of Pioneers that would bloom countless Entanglements and death.

Towards the end of it all, what would his progress in Hell Terra Firma be? When he was finally released, where would his own complexity be at?

Pioneers, or Source Complexity?!

HUUM!

The radiance of his body seemed to ever slowly be returning as the Quintessential League of Existence fully began to unfold. Soon enough, he may not even be considered a mere human as he prepared to violate the very basal workings of Hell Terra Firma!

As he imaged the type of Complexity he would have, the visage of the dark skinned Barbatos flashed as he wondered how things continued with her!

In a unique Frequency of Existence.

Purple Strings of Existence intricately stretched out and into a massive circular construct the size of ten Omniverses.

A hum and glow of magnificence were constantly being released from these purple strings, a terrifying luster of complexity lying within as even from afar, one could feel a sense of suffocation that came from dozens of Source Complexity entities lying within this place!

At this moment.

In a small corner of this grandiose structure filled with purple Strings of Existence.

Inside a domain less than the size of a world, radiant silver-purple radiance spread out all around as the figure of Barbatos stood on a sea of purple complexity while staring at the back of a man who was seated in a meditative position at its center.

"What has happened, Father?"

She asked with a sharp gaze as the man ahead of her had a back so massive- as if he was carrying an indeterminate amount of weight on his back!

His hair was a sleek black, his skin dark and radiant as he seemed like a sculpture of a nigh perfect entity.

He breathed out heavily and sighed at the question his daughter paused before he spoke out calmly.

"Existence…is unraveling."

…!

Three words. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

And yet they caused Barbatos to feel a heavy beat of her heart as she kept her face placid while she asked.

"What do you mean? You know I don't like cryptic things!"

She voiced out her frustration as the man before her, a Pillar of the Logos of the Wheel, replied succinctly!

"In the mission you participated in. It has become a Source Nexus Event connected to the Unraveling of Existence there, and the process is rapidly expanding. Strings of Existence have been snapping at an ever-increasing rate, and they want those involved in that event…to be used as scapegoats if need be. If this unraveling is not stopped, there will be unknown consequences, and there will be a War across Frequencies. Nobody wants that."

…!

The words caused Barbatos to become enraged as a habit she had long ago suppressed rose up.

"The fuck do you mean they want a scapegoat? I only went on that mission because I was ordered to! I know nothing about an unraveling of existence or a War across Frequencies. I was only acting on orders- the Orders of the Logos of the Wheel!"

Her gorgeous face showed indignation and anger as she continued.

"They want a scapegoat, but so what? My Father sits atop the council, surely such a thing was shut down as soon as it rose up?"

She asked a critical question.

One that should have a very easy and quick answer.

"..."

And yet…

Her father did not reply.

…!

Her gaze rapidly changed as her face became ashen!

"You…"

This was her father.

The man who was always there to protect her. The man who should always be on her side.

And yet at this moment…

"I hope the unraveling stops. I hope that none of this unfolds in the worst way possible. But if it does follow the worst possible result, I will not be able to stop the others. If it can stop an eruption of a War across Frequencies, they will sacrifice anyone they can to prevent it- even me."

…!

His back, which was already so broad and heavy, seemed to become narrow at this moment.

His Source that was ever so radiant felt unfathomably dim to her at this moment!

He spoke as if the decision had already been made, as if there was nothing he could do, and he had accepted it!

"I am sorry."

He stared at the stellar purple sea around them and uttered such empty words as Barbatos felt her heart breaking.

How many years of a relationship was this? How many complex weavings between father and daughter?

For him to just…

Barbatos was in a daze as he continued.

"They do not know you are here. They will want to keep you under their surveillance just in case to be ready. The most I can give you...is a head start. Go and hide in a place that would make it hard for them to even find you. If things do unfold in the worst possible way, maybe they will sweep over and end before you can be affected."

…!

His words only felt worse and worse to her as she couldn't help but feel a sense of revulsion!

She was so angered and betrayed that she couldn't help but laugh!

"Hide? Fucking where could I go hide that the Logos of the Wheel would not find me? Have you truly resigned to allowing your only daughter to be used like this?! Have you…!"

She wanted to ask if he had truly already made his decision.

But seeing his placid gaze, she knew the answer as her heart truly couldn't help but bleed!

The last words he said to her…

"You should go. They do not know you are here now, but they will soon. Be safe."

…!

His words weren't hurried, even though her weavings were facing tremendous peril!

She couldn't wrap her head around all of this as she wiped her tears away, giving this man, her father, one last look before she defiantly shook her head and disappeared.

But where could she go?

How could she hide from something as vast as the Logos of the Wheel that extended their claws across the Frequencies of the Wheel?

In her complex and tumultuous emotions, the image of one man rose up as her shattered heart felt a form of solace even just thinking about him.

But...he was much lesser in complexity than even her or someone like her Father.

If even her Father chose to abandon her because he couldn't bear the weight of the Logos of the Wheel, then what about him?

"..."

As her heart ached, she resigned herself to at least say goodbye as her source exploded out, going towards another Frequency of Existence!
