Once the System had finished absorbing the Superior Wind Vein, William brought out the necessary tools and created some sand with the Earth Element. Additionally, he spent a large amount of Mana to produce gold that would serve as a metallic oxide for the stained glass.

The requirements for the Charm Resistance Talent's Ascension were simply stained glass and a million Potential Points. It didn't specify what kind of stained glass, so William went through with the easiest method he could come up with.

With a few hours and a series of complex steps, William was able to produce a pristine shard of yellowish-brown stained glass. Even though it was his first attempt as a Glazier, the Jack Of All Trades Talent served as more than enough of a handicap to perfectly refine the glass.

He immediately used the stained glass to Ascend his Charm Resistance Talent. As the name implied, the Charm Resistance Talent gave William increased resistance to any form of charming effect, such as certain Spells of the Dream or Illusion Element that targeted his psyche, or simply extreme beauty that might be distracting.

William didn't waste any time and immediately spent twenty thousand Soul Strength to Ascend his Soul Bound and Summon Resistance Talents.

The Ascended Soul Bound Talent would better preserve William's Soul Strength if he was affected by something similar to the Soul-Sapping Necrotoxin, while Summon Resistance stated that he would be able to resist Spells of the Summoning Element that targeted his body.

According to the System, the Trial Tower's entrance in the Gravitas Ruins used the Summon Element to pull Cultivators inside when they looked at its interior. The Ascension Portals also used a combination of the Gravity and Summoning Elements to draw Cultivators toward it.

William wanted to get the upgrades out of the way as quickly as possible, so he brought out a piece of lead ore and Ascended the Shockwave Resistance Talent next. Since he had just absorbed the Superior Wind Vein, he was also able to Ascend his Stable Footing Talent.

I have eight Ascended Resistance Talents now. If I count the Cultivation and Recovery Talents, I have a total of ten Ascended Talents! William smiled as he closed the System Panel and Cultivated for a day before allowing the System to absorb the Superior Plant Vein next.

He didn't forget to use the Potential Points he had passively earned to upgrade his last Potential Farm to A-Rank, raising his daily income to 2.25 million Potential Points per day. At the current pace, he would have an Ascended Point in roughly a year and a third.

Over the next month and a half, William would absorb a Superior Vein, then Cultivate for a day. Since his Cultivation Talent had improved even further now, William was able to absorb fifty thousand Spirit Qi per minute.

His Cultivation Base was almost completely full by the time he finished absorbing the Superior Plant Vein, and by the time the Dragon Continent was completely clear, William's Cultivation had far surpassed his previous record.

William was about to question his real age, but when he checked his mental calendar, he realized that it was already April 3rd, 2027. So much time had passed, and William realized he had already been on Efretta for three years now.

His eyes widened as he scrolled down, surprised to see that his lifespan was getting close to six digits long.

My maximum lifespan quadrupled, and my Health doubled while my Mana Reserves increased by a million in one go!n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Wait, am I reading this right? My Cultivation Base can reach a billion Spirit Qi now?!?

-That is correct. The numbers have been shorthanded so it's easier to read.

William nodded in agreement. No matter how good his memory is, shorter numbers are better numbers.

He was glad that his Cultivation Base had increased by such a large amount, because his previous storage was barely enough to contain a day and a half worth of Cultivation. Now that it had expanded, William could Cultivate for almost two weeks straight without having to spend his Cultivation!

Better yet, more storage meant William would be able to use his Natural Spirit Aura more often. Since the Soul Formation Realm had only 6 stages, William's Natural Spirit Aura was currently equivalent to a Cultivator at the ninth and final stage of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm.

If one were to rank William's Talents by themselves, the Ascended Cultivation Talent would be in the top ten even though it was only a Common Talent. While top ten didn't seem like much, one had to remember that William had three Mythic Elements, and powerful Talents like Fitness, Hard Body, Forcefield, and Jack Of All Trades.

My Cultivation is so fast, and there are only fifteen Superior Veins and seventy-one Greater Veins left to absorb. At this rate, I'll Ascend in less than a year!

Thinking about this made William realize that his comprehension of the Gravity Element would be holding him back. If he didn't comprehend it fully, he couldn't Ascend the Polarity Resistance Talent.

System, you said the A-Rank Element Farm would still be consumable, right?

-Yes. Each month, the Element Farm will grow one hundred Fruits instead of fifty.

William did the math. If he grew one hundred Fruits per month and he already had two hundred Fruits, he could fully comprehend the Gravity Element in exactly eight more months. This would be about perfect for his current rate of improvement!

Great, I still have 116 million Points, so let's upgrade the Gravity Farm to A-Rank!

The System did as it was asked, wiping away yet another large portion of William's Potential Points in an instant. He was growing further and further away from earning the Ascended Point needed to buy a Chaotic Storage, but William wasn't bothered.

One AP to upgrade? Well, I guess it makes sense because ten times a hundred million Points is a billion. Either way, it would be the same.

William smiled and left the Dragon Continent to absorb the Superior Water Vein. He used the Agemo Primordial Compression Technique to absorb the Greater Veins first, then allowed the System to do the rest after a brief period of Cultivation.

The rate at which the Veins were absorbed greatly exceeded the rate at which the Heavens could produce and send Magical Beasts towards him. The number of Beasts drastically plummeted from the millions to just a few hundred thousand to barely even that.

With his overpowered sister around most of the time and his Companion Beasts nearby as needed, William didn't even have to lift a finger against the Heavens' summons. He continued to leisurely Cultivate in between his absorption sessions, quickly exhausting the natural Mana scattered across the World.

After three more months passed and William had absorbed half of the Superior Veins on the Velos Continent, many Players that had yet to Ascend found themselves unable to Cultivate at all!
