Chapter 1868: Reason to Be Forgotten
Chapter 1868: Reason to Be Forgotten
There is silence in the forest.
Yes, there is the sound of insects but there is no roars of beast which is quite unusual considering that this forts is not exactly a peaceful forest
But Wargod is here and who here dares roar when he is here?
Azief could talk casually with Wargod but behind him Samara and Will is very cautious. If they sense anything is wrong, they would take action immediately.
That is what they have decided to do.
They must have been walking for around fifteen minutes but then Wargod halted. He look in front of him and there is a smile on his face.
Azief also halted.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
And since the two of them stop, Will and his teacher also stopped
For a moment, they are just standing there.
Samara ask
"Why are we stopping?"
'It's here" Wargod said.
But none of them could see anything.
Wargod waves his hand and powerful aura suddenly burst out from him and Samara flinched for a second.
Azief see it and his eyes narrowed
"Samara is really a paranoid being" Azief thought to himself. Even when there is no interest for Wargod to attack Samara right now, she never let her guard down.
Any suspicious movement and she nearly reacted.
Azief however could guess already what Wargod means and what he is doing.
After all, he also knows this method
He could not use it but he knows the method.
Hiding the World in Space.
It is a method of hiding things inside a space fold.
If added with other runes and methods of invisibility that could be grafted on the formation, it becomes so undetectable that it requires high understanding of formation method to even sense it
Azief senses it because of the ring in his middle finger vibrates slightly when he is near the area. Any Etherna magic that he encounters now has some kind of resonance with his ring
It is because the ring is now one. In the past he has to wear ten rings and his image in paintings and in pictures always depicts him wearing one ring on each of his finger.
He is also curious of how this formation method is done.
As the energy from Wargod spread forward, the space in front of them shimmers before it suddenly broke.
And it revealed a temple
A large temple. Azief took a glance at Samara behind him and he was shocked for a second before he stabilize back his mind
He grins a bit
"So, she has feelings after all" he thought to himself before focusing back on looking at the temple.
"It is phaseless before"
Azief thought to himself.
With this kind of large temple, if it is not hidden in a space fold, when solid beings roam this area, they would stumble into it
But it is different from a space fold.
Wargod fold the space like hiding something in the crevice of a folded paper.
Those who did not know this method could not see what Azief had just seen. He had just seen the space unfolded and revealed this temple.
"It would be very useful someday" he thought to himself.
Not only to hide things and protect things but also to hide himself and protect himself if he arrives in an area where there is no hiding place.
"I have been taught" Azief said to Wargod. Wargod hears it and smiles.
"It is good you know my good intention" Azief knows that there is no need for Wargod to do this.
This is Interium.
Even if he did not hide this temple, which beings in this broken star would dare to come close to this Temple if they are not allowed.
These old beings, these ancient beings all have their methods of doing things. Sometimes, a simple action has deep meanings
Azief once thought of it as just these beings trying to make it harder and more mysterious. But as Azief grows stronger he also realizes that sometimes, certain things should not be conveyed directly.
Because there is no better teacher than yourself. The wise guides the fool to find their own way.
This is the true method.
And the Fool that found his own method is stronger than the brilliant one who imitates. But there is not many Fool and too many brilliant ones. To be a Fool is not easy
And to be a Fool that is enlightened is even harder.
Wargod is showing him all of this so he could understand something. And Wargod effort is not
a wasted effort.
Right now, Azief had some understanding of this method
As he wonders about the method of the formation, there is a droning sound that begins
affecting the area
Azief eyes narrows
"Oh, the Temple also has this kind of function?" he mutters to himself.
Now that the Temple is revealed suddenly the power of time affects the area.
Wargod smiles as he looks behind him, looking straight at Samara
"How about it White Witch of Askevaria? The Temple is polished new, don't you think?" Samara no longer walk behind Wargod instead she walks forward. Will follows her.
Samara rarely shows her emotion. That is a trait Azief quickly realized from the first moment
he saw her.
And all of the description that Will told him about her affirms this impression
But Azief saw it.
The moment that temple was revealed, her eyes shakes. Azief could not understand it because he did not experience what she experience.
There is secrets in the End of the Savi'krian. Azief doesn't know about it that much nor did he dig up that much about the Savi'krian race from Will
It is not that he is not curious. He believes that if it is something dangerous to him and the world, Will would tell him
After all, Earthlings are now very aversive towards alien civilizations after the Weronian and the Orvanians attack on Earth.
Samara stand in front of Wargod as she looks at the temple. It was like she didn't even consciously realize that she is walking toward the Temple like she is being enchanted.
Then she realizes that Wargod is behind her and her cautiousness raises again and she halted herself. She look down on the ground, close her eyes, takes a deep breath and nodded to
herself
"So enchanting. After all of these years...it is still as treacherous as ever" she mutters to herself. Azief heard it, Wargod hears it and will also hears it
Azief believe that when the Tempe was revealed, and as she looks at it, she must have been ensnared in some kind of illusion. That is why she said such words
She sighed and then raise her eyes up.
Her eyes widened
"I did not notice it before" she thought to herself
She looks at the sky and her eyes narrows. She seems to see some silhouette in the skies but
the silhouettes are blurry
But one look like a monkey. She narrows her eyes but her vision could not see more than that.
Her heart is rumbling right now. She was so entranced and was so focused on the Temple, she did not even notices all of these beings looking down on Interium
But, Wargod must have realized it. If he realized it and did not rid them away....could it be beings that even Wargod had to be wary about?
She shakes her head and then look back at the temple. This time her eyes are clear.
"It is really the Temple of Asargan"
She mutters.
Even at this moment, she doubted it.
Wargod is not really someone that is easy to deal with. Even more so someone that she could
trust.
From behind Wargod, she has been thinking of a way to escape from Interium if Wargod is
leading them into a trap.
That is why she never walk side by side with Wargod or pass in front of him.
Wargod is a being that is even mentioned in their lore. He has been existing even since then. It
wasn't until later that she deduce what Wargod is.
And for a being like Wargod, she really doesn't have any leverage.
He knows more secrets than she does and his ability is endless.
He might have sealed most his powers and abilities, but that is self-imposed seals.
If he releases the seals and uses even a fraction of his true ability, even the White Witch of Askevaria is not confident that she could outrun him
But now, when all of those small thoughts of her is confirmed false, what came is happiness that she doesn't know how to express.
There is a few other temples. The Ten Temples
As long as she could get the remnant of the knowledge in these Temple of Asargan, created by her own people, she would have enough capital to reach her peak and cultivate her disciple. There are things she had forgotten and there are things that she did not know. The things she
had forgotten must have a reason to be forgotten
