With a sudden start, I jolt awake in an instant, my heart pounding in my chest. My eyes snap open, and before me stands a beautiful woman with long brown hair and sparkling blue eyes.

"I told you to stop calling me that; it's been five years since we—"

The door suddenly flings open wide, revealing a small girl with white hair tied into a single ponytail. She bursts into the room with a joyful demeanor, a radiant smile on her face.

"Anya! How many times have I told you not to barge into the room again?!" Mom scolds, her voice carrying a mixture of irritation and concern. However, her words trail off as she notices Anya's gaze fixed on me.

"Papa!" Anya exclaims, her tiny feet carrying her toward me at full speed. She leaps onto the bed, causing it to dip slightly under her weight.

"Waaaaaaaaaah!! Where have you been, Daddy?!" Anya cries, tears streaming down her face.

"Daddy is sorry, Anya. I'll never leave you again~" I murmur, gently caressing Anya's head. Surprisingly, it doesn't take more than a few seconds before exhaustion overtakes her, and she drifts into slumber.

"Why did she fall asleep so quickly?" I inquire, my voice barely above a whisper, bewildered by Anya's sudden drowsiness.

For some reason, Mom chooses to ignore my question. Instead, she pulls a small chair closer to the bed where I'm seated, taking a seat herself.

"Now tell me... Where have you been for over a month? An anonymous person brought you home unconscious yesterday and left without a word. Tell me... Why did you abandon your wife and child for over a month without letting us know your whereabouts? The others are also in the dark about where you went.

You've caused us all so much worry! Where did you go, Kelan?" Mom's words are laced with a mix of frustration, anger, and genuine concern.

Hearing Mom's words, I let out a sigh... I move my body backward a bit, resting my back on the bed frame.

"Mom, take Anya into her ro--"

"I have told you not to me that. Yeah, I agree, you are one weird guy that transmigrated into my stomach. However, now that we have become lovers and parents, I don't think it's polite to call me Mom," Mom says jokingly with a small pout.

Anna doesn't hesitate one bit as she gets up from her seat, carries Anya from my arms, and begins to carry her out of the room.

"I see... B-But... How did you get one? I mean, the humans are currently struggling to catch up with the other races after splitting up and taking planet Manov as our home planet..." Anna mutters, still confused.

Hearing her words, I reveal a small smile.

"The humans are not struggling to catch up. Those technologies are currently top secret since humans are trying to create more of them. Besides, I got mine from the Azure dragon lord," I reveal.

"Waaaah~ Azure dragon lord..." Anna mutters in surprise and her expression slowly changes into a smile.

"I'm glad to see our child has grown a bit... I have also missed you so- much," I say as I grab Anna's hand lightly, slowly caressing it till I reach her chest, and unbutton about four buttons, revealing her cleavage. As I am about to unbutton the last button, Anna suddenly grabs my hand.

"I have something important to tell you. It's about our daughter, something strange is happening to her."
