C512 – The Tsundere Dahei a Fragrant Warning!

​Dahei lay on the ground, drained of strength. Upon hearing Jiang Hao’s words, it rolled its eyes and declared with haughty defiance, “I may not be able to defeat you, but I refuse to surrender. You might as well abandon that idea!”

​Jiang Hao watched Dahei with an amused smile. “So, you’re really not coming with me?”

Dahei glanced at Jiang Hao and, without uttering a word, gave him a hard stare before turning away. His actions spoke volumes.

​Jiang Hao, admiring Dahei’s spirit, extended his hand, and a bottle of Vital Essence materialized. He uncorked the bottle, and a potent life essence wafted through the air.

Drawn by the scent, Dahei instinctively twitched his nose, captivated by the aroma. Realizing the source was behind him, he quickly spun around to find Jiang Hao holding a glass vial, his eyes widening in astonishment. “Such a potent force of life!”

Seeing Dahei’s reaction to the Vital Essence he had revealed, Jiang Hao’s face broke into a sly grin as he continued, “This is Vital Essence, teeming with an immense life force capable of reviving the dead and mending flesh and bone. It’s a supreme elixir. Plus, it can even enhance your evolution!”

​After his explanation, Jiang Hao prodded once more, “Are you sure you don’t want to reconsider?”

​Jiang Hao’s words snapped Dahei out of his reverie. Dahei looked up, locking eyes with Jiang Hao’s teasing gaze. His face clouded over, and he grumbled to himself, “This fiend thinks he can tempt me? I have my pride; I will not give in!”

With that thought, Dahei’s eyes hardened with resolve. He turned his head away, deliberately avoiding the sight of the Vital Essence in Jiang Hao’s hand.

​With a tone dripping with scorn, Dahei responded, “Human, I am the sovereign of dogs, dignified and unbending. When I say I will never yield, I mean it!”

​Jiang Hao observed Dahei closely. Had it not been for the fleeting glimpse of pain in its eyes as it turned away, he might have actually believed its bravado.

Jiang Hao’s spirits lifted, and with a spark of inspiration, he stowed the Vital Essence into his system space, then retrieved a jade bottle from within.

This was one of the bottles he had used to collect Emperor Fluid.

Glancing at Dahei, Jiang Hao uncorked the jade bottle filled with Emperor Fluid and extended it towards Dahei, a playful smile on his face.

He then feigned a tone of regret.

“Ah! I had this thought—if you decided to follow me, I’d gift you this bottle of Emperor Fluid as a welcome present!”

“Such a shame!”

“It seems I’ll have to save this Emperor Fluid for someone else!”

With those words, Jiang Hao casually pocketed the Emperor Fluid.

At that instant, Dahei sprang to his feet, fixating on the Emperor Fluid in Jiang Hao’s grasp, his eyes brimming with insatiable longing and avarice.

“This is the real Emperor Fluid, no doubt about it!”

Having just been graced by the Emperor Fluid’s baptism, there was no mistaking it!

Watching Dahei rise, a sly grin crept across Jiang Hao’s face.

“Little guy, you think you can resist me?”

With that, he turned on his heel and walked away, not looking back.

Dahei, in a frenzy of urgency, pondered his dilemma.

He might withstand the temptation of the Vital Essence, but the allure of the Emperor Fluid? Could he possibly refuse?

He might as well be dead!
