Primordial Draconic Incubus With A Gourmet Chef System

Chapter 105 Gratitude

After they had all left, only James and Yax remained in the restaurant.

With a tilt of her head, Lily said politely, "Sir James, the restaurant has closed for the day. Please come back tomorrow."

However, James hesitated to leave with a complicated expression. "Miss don't worry I'll leave in a second. I wanted to ask Senior a question…" He paused and glanced at Lucian's figure through the serving hatch. Shaking his head, he continued, "But it seems he's not in a good mood today. I'll be sure to ask him tomorrow."

He then briefly looked at the unconscious young man. "As for the crippled young man, I'll order one of my guards to take him out of the restaurant."

James suddenly smiled at the waitress and placed fifty Low-Grade Mana Stones on the table. "Also, I would like to pre-order another medium-rare Sous Vide Filet Mignon for tomorrow morning at six again."

Compared to the Siren's Melody Poached Egg, which had a slightly fishy taste, he preferred the beef and wine tastes of the Sous Vide Filet Mignon.

Not only was the taste to his preference, but the dish was more suitable for his Mage Rank. He even felt that he was about to have another breakthrough.

Lily nodded, "Thank you, Sir James. Your order will be ready on time." She collected the Mana Stones and gave a slight bow as James left the restaurant.

A few seconds later, the entrance opened and Jin Wa walked in. He looked around and after spotting the unconscious young man, he walked over to him.

"Please excuse me." Jin Wa bowed to the waitress. After straightening his back, he swiftly cleaned the bloodstained floor and then hoisted the young man over his shoulders and left.

Lucian whistled once the guard left. "Quite efficient." He commented, sounding impressed by the guard's practiced movements.

"It seems I owe James." He muttered to himself. It was important to remember others' kindness. Because of James, he not only had free guards patrolling his restaurant, but one of James' guards had even removed the nuisance. Most importantly, his floor had been cleaned.

After Lily locked the restaurant and deactivated the Mosaic Skill, she flicked her wrist playfully and a pile of Mana Stones appeared on a table.

"Big Brother Lucian, here are the Mana Stones Lily obtained from the customers!" Lily's beautiful face was rosy with happiness and eagerness. She slightly tilted her head in Lucian's direction not to make her desire too obvious but obvious enough for him to understand what she wanted.

'This girl is insatiable.' Lucian chuckled to himself and patted her head affectionately. Her hair was silky and felt nice to the touch.

"Good job, Lily," Lucian said after a while with a warm smile.

Lily smiled shyly and continued enjoying her Big Brother Lucian's head pats.

Realizing that she was still not satisfied, Lucian shook his head and continued patting her head, while he used his other hand to collect the Mana Stones.

<{Congratulations! You now have 337 Low-Grade Mana Stones.}>

<{Congratulations! 982 customers left until the Quest is completed.}>

[Host, you have had eighteen customers in two days. At this rate, you will fail the Quest. Do you have a plan?] The System asked in a nervous tone after it saw the System Notifications.

Lucian smiled cunningly, [Plan? Of course, I have a plan. In fact, before I even left Thunderfall City, my plan was set in motion.]

[Oh? Can the Host enlighten the System?]

[It's quite simple. My food is delicious and can help Mages increase their Mage Rank. Sooner or later, once the news spreads everyone in the Moon Grove Forest will arrive in droves.]

[What about Yax? Is the Host not afraid he will spread your identity as a Magical Beast? From their reactions, it seems Magical Beasts aren't viewed nicely on Arcadia.] The System brought up another topic that it had been worried about for a while.

[Yax?... Oh, you mean the idiot.] Lucian chuckled as the figure of the brown-haired man appeared in his mind. [Why should I care what he says? Do I look like a Magical Beast to you?]

[No… but.]

Lucian continued questioning in an indifferent tone. [Do you sense Magical Beast aura from my body?]

[That's… true.]

Magical Beasts, even in Humanoid Form, naturally produced a wild, beastly aura.

It was innate to all Magical Beasts. It could be masked with concealment-related Skills and potions with similar attributes; however, like all Skills that Magical Beasts used in their Humanoid Form, their true form would show upon the Skills activation. As for a potion, sooner or later the effects would wear off.

[Also, I would be grateful to him if he released the news that I'm a Magical Beast. That way, I will get more customers. It's free publicity.]

The System was speechless. However, it was also impressed.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Big Brother Lucian, where is Grandpa Max's son?"

Lily's adorable, melodic voice sounded out.

After hearing Lily's words, the expression on Lucian's face instantly darkened.

Even now, he did not want to babysit the walking, breathing calamity. Babysitting the Titan Drunken Blood Monkey was no different than digging his own grave.

Because of the almost half-a-foot height difference, Lily did not see Lucian's expression.

Lucian did not immediately respond to Lily; however, after seeing Lily's body become tense and anxious, he sighed.

[Can Lily enter the Spatial Farm with me.] Lucian asked the System. He knew Lily wanted to see Maximillian's son and possibly even raise him in his parents' stead. She was too kind.

[Of course, but only the Host and Lily's Souls can enter the Spatial Farm. Only after the Host returns to Transcendence in Thunderfall City can you enter with your physical body.] The System answered solemnly.

Lucian closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He had already agreed to Maximillian to take care of his son. There was no going back and he was also not the type to go back on his word.
