System Notifications flashed within Lucian's mind; however, after a quick glance, he ignored them.

After the Titan Drunken Blood Monkey disappeared, Lucian and Fenwick let out sighs of relief for different reasons.

Lucian was relieved because the World Spirit did not get involved, while Fenwick was relieved he could continue to live.

'Fortunately, I waited and didn't escape with Lily. Otherwise, I might have offended him.' Fenwick thought to himself in relief. Even though it was not guaranteed Lucian would have been offended if they escaped, Fenwick would rather not take such a chance. Powerful Mages, especially Magical Beasts, who were influenced by their beastly instincts, cared a lot about their pride.

As Fenwick relaxed, subconsciously, he removed the vines binding Lily.

After noticing she was no longer restrained, Lily flapped her wings, creating a gale behind her, and immediately flew toward Lucian.

Lucian smiled when he heard Lily's words.

Suddenly, Lucian's smile changed into a frown when he felt a strong wind behind him. After turning around, he immediately regretted his decision as his eyes dilated at the incoming pink-winged Pixie rocket. With the lack of time and his weak strength, he could not react in time.

However, to his relief, just as the rocket was about to collide with his chest, it stopped and hovered a foot away from him.

Once Lily straightened herself, she lunged at Lucian with her arms wide, hugging him.

"Wu, wu, wu! Big Brother Lucian, Lily is sorry, it's all Lily's fault. Isn't it?"

Lucian frowned while feeling a slight ache in his chest.

"What do you mean?"

Lucian's frown widened as he listened to Lily's words and felt her tears drenching his robe. His heart felt as though it was being squeezed. It was more painful than when he spoke in the Universal Language to create Runic Symbols.

Lucian sighed with his arms to his sides, not knowing how to comfort her. Obviously, when it came to women, he had no experience.
