Chapter 2419: Testing



Sam is hovering in the sky on his harbinger.

There are dozens of bird puppets flying around him. Even more of them have went past him as they flew into the territory of the Nalvahan city. They successfully breached the air space and triggered the alert mechanism.

The mechanism has detected all the bird puppets and their energy levels, assuming that the threat is high, it sent an alert that a large army is invading, sending out the signal to bring out all the forces.

Just like Sam wanted.

He observed the movements of the city. He could see it. The turrets that are installed on the walls. Each turret occupied by three people at the late stage of the Divine plane initiation. It needs that much energy to properly activate.

Sam looked at the impact of the explosion calmly. Everything happened fast. Even with such complicated steps, the turrets are creating immediate damage. After he understood their activation method, Sam decided to make a move of his own.

He threw the disk in the air. A runic pattern appeared and it started glowing. It flew vertically in front of Sam. One of its surfaces is facing him.

Sam then took out his bow. He conjured an arrow by condensing the wind. The wind elemental arrow was nocked the string and he shot it at the flying disc.

The moment the arrow hit the disc, it disappeared. As if the disc has consumed it. At the same time, the bird puppets opened their mouths and each bird shot out the same arrow as Sam.

The arrow shape, energy level and damage are the same.

The arrows pierced through the incoming cannon balls making them explode. The rest of the arrows went past that and landed at the defensive line of the soldiers.

One of the arrows lodged into the turret and broke a couple of barrels.

It was shocking enough to halt their movements for a moment. Sam didn't have any plans to give them time to recover.

He conjured an arrow of golden flames and shot it.

*SWOOSH*

*BOOM**BOOM* *BOOM*

Arrows flew through the air, aimed at the enemy forces that are standing at the edge of the city walls. The enemies finally woke up and started defending. The golden flames exploded. The formation of the city was immediately activated.

The formation stopped the arrows from going in. There are no deaths, not yet. But the damage was not negligible.

Sam noticed the impact and snapped his fingers again. The birds changed the formation. Previously, they are all arranged side by side neatly, now they occupied more space, in specific

patterns.

The leader of the opposition, being the mercenary that he is, is experienced in battles. He has seen many people pull out tricks like these out of their asses. So, he is the first one to recover from the daze and made a move.

"All of you. Charge forward. We need to destroy those puppets"

They charged. Long range attacks were the first to be made. They all came at Sam and his puppets.

Sam just looked at them with an amused expression. He really liked this feeling. Resonance is one of the best projects he worked on. It is way too powerful, versatile and importantly, it is like a cheat mechanism for him.

the people in the front.

After shooting almost thirty rounds, more puppets flew out of Sam's storage and they replaced the previous ones.

became lethal.

Sam used curses and shot the arrows in that short space. This time, a couple of opponents died

and crashed into the ground.
