Kenneth had a slight hope that Damien would come back to his senses after he threatened to poison him again.

However, he couldn't be any more wrong.

Damien kept on choking him with one hand while with another, he tried to loosen Kenneth's grip around his waist.

Kenneth was now starting to feel lightheaded because of how strongly Damien was suffocating him. And right then, he suddenly came up with a bizarre idea.

"Da-Damien… I know th-that you are feeling extremely hungry. I know that feeling too. I know how that urge can drive you mad. So, why don't you d-drink… my blood instead?" Kenneth suddenly loosened his grip around Damien's waist.

And Damien also instantly left his hold around Kenneth's neck so that he could run after Grace. He had tasted her blood, and she and only she was his prey at the moment. He had taken a few steps towards Grace when Kenneth ran and stood in front of Damien while blocking his path.

Damien's blood-red eyes glinted with a hint of irritation and rage. And he snarled at Kenneth and got ready to punch a hole in his chest.

However, Kenneth pushed up his sleeve and offered his arm to Damien. "Here. Bite me. I am a part werewolf, so you might like it. Give it a try."

Damien furrowed his brows and kept on looking at Kenneth's face in confusion. As he wasn't himself yet, he couldn't understand why Kenneth was volunteering to be the sacrifice instead of letting him get to that prey.

Kenneth abruptly pressed his wrist on Damien's lips so that Damien would feed on him. However, at the same time, he also warned Damien, "But you need to stop before you drain me completely. If you don't stop then I will kick your balls. So you better not make me resort to that."

Damien could feel the bulging veins of Kenneth on his lips. However, he turned his face away and spat on the ground. And he angrily growled, "Don't try to feed your filthy blood to me."

But Kenneth didn't give up. He knew that the moment he would give up trying to stop Damien, or even think about doing so, his cousin would be victimized again.

So instead of forcing Damien to sink his fangs, Kenneth protruded his own fangs out and punctured his wrist to wound himself.

The moment Kenneth's blood seeped out of those puncture marks, a smell sweeter than nectar entered Damien's nose. His heart suddenly got overwhelmed by the desire for blood that smelled superior to a normal human's blood.

And his blood-thirsty and excited eyes instantly got glued on the blood that was slowly dripping down Kenneth's wrist.

Kenneth then shoved his wrist on Damien's mouth again. "Come on, help yourself."

Though initially, Damien didn't have any intention of sinking his fangs on Kenneth, he changed his mind now that Kenneth practically forced his blood on Damien.

Damien opened his mouth slightly at first and licked the dripping blood with the tip of his tongue. He wasn't sure if Kenneth's blood would taste as good as it smelled. He had once drunk Theodore's blood when he was a kid, and he didn't want something that distasteful to enter his mouth again.

However, when he tasted Kenneth's blood, he was now fully onboard about sinking his fangs on Kenneth's wrist because he had never tasted anything so heavenly in his life ever before.

Damien wide opened his mouth and dug all of his fangs into the hybrid. And when the blood sweeter than honey began to ooze inside his mouth, all of Damien's senses exploded with the feeling of ecstasy.

But the blood that was coming out of Kenneth's wrist didn't feel enough to quench Damien's insatiable lust for blood.

Damien lifted his head and gazed at the veins on Kenneth's neck.

Kenneth widened his eyes and shook his head when he realized what Damien was thinking. And he quickly protested, "Hey! Don't even think about–"

But it was already too late for the protest now that Damien had gotten the taste of Kenneth's blood. No words would be sufficient to stop the single-minded half-vampire.

"Aarghhhhhhh…" Kenneth screamed in a gruff voice. He felt a stinging pain in his neck, and before he could do anything, Damien was already sucking blood from his neck.

And Kenneth couldn't even move since Damien had locked one of his legs with his. He was also tightly gripping Kenneth's hair and making him tilt. And with the other hand, he was pushing Kenneth's shoulder to hold him in place.

And Kenneth didn't need to think much about what Damien would do to him if he tried to force the demon away. Damien could easily bite off his veins or snap his neck if he got angry.

So instead of threatening Damien or trying to forcefully push him away, Kenneth let Damien feed on him for a while, hoping that Damien's thirst would get quenched shortly.

And when he felt like he had lost enough blood, he asked Damien in a calm and polite voice, "Damien, I think you've had enough. D-Don't be greedy now."

However, Damien didn't listen to him. He dug his fangs even deeper and kept on draining Kenneth's tasty blood.

"Er… Damien? You remember how I told you that I'd kick you in the balls, yeah?" Kenneth said in a passive-aggressive tone. "Well, I am really close to doing that. So you better stop sucking my blood now or else, I can't promise that you'll ever become a father."

But that threat also didn't work on Damien. Rather, he aggressively pulled Kenneth's hair and made him tilt away so that he could drink blood with ease.

"Argh! That's it! I'm going to do it now. I'm going to kick you." Kenneth warned Damien for the final time.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Damien was still being stubborn.

And if Kenneth didn't do something soon enough, he knew that Damien would drain him of his blood and force him to go into eternal slumber.

Kenneth didn't want that to happen to him. So he prepared his knee and let out a ragged whisper, "Don't tell me I didn't warn you, you monster!"

However, before he could kick Damien, Kenneth heard a familiar scream echoing in the forest.

"Aahhhhhhhhh…"

All the birds in the vicinity were startled by that loud scream and they all flew away from their nest.
