"Could it be that this spaceship, transporting the God-making Eggs, had already set off during the era of The Ancient Realm King and had been voyaging through the universe for countless eons before accidentally crashing here? Why didn't they use the teleporter instead of undertaking such a prolonged cosmic journey?" Lin Shen couldn't figure out the key point.

"It seems we can only find the answer by entering the spaceship. Just as Lin Shen was pondering this, he suddenly heard someone knocking on the door.

He had thought it was Wei Wufu, but upon opening the door, he was surprised to see Wei Changqing standing outside.

"Sir Qing," Lin Shen was somewhat surprised and didn't know why Wei Changqing had come here alone.

"Wufu is at the Townland Hall. There are some things I want to discuss with you alone," Wei Changqing said.

"Sir Qing, please come inside to talk," Lin Shen probably guessed what Wei Changqing wanted to talk about.

Wei Changqing looked at Lin Shen and said, "Child, I want Wufu to leave the mother planet with you so that he can achieve Nirvana elsewhere."

"I also want to take him with me, but it's not my decision to make," Lin Shen sighed.

"That boy Wufu is stubborn... as long as you are willing... I have my ways..." Wei Changqing also sighed and then continued, "Do you want to explore that spaceship?"

In line with the Wei Family's usual manner, they would presumably prefer Wufu to stay and guard the mother planet, to suppress the creatures from the underground space.

Moreover, with those God-making Eggs, they could become Immortal while remaining on the mother planet, so it seemed unnecessary to venture into the universe.

"Wufu actually should not bear the Wei surname," Wei Changqing revealed a secret that made Lin Shen's eyes widen.

"Not bear the Wei surname?" Lin Shen asked with a strange expression, "Then what should his surname be?"

"I don't know," Wei Changqing shook his head.

"Does that mean he is an orphan adopted by the Wei Family?" Lin Shen did not expect Wufu to have such a pitiable past.

"It's not as you think. Although Wufu originally should not bear the Wei surname, he is indeed my own grandson, just my daughter's child," Wei Changqing shook his head and said.

Lin Shen was slightly startled, realizing he had thought incorrectly, "Then who is his father?"

"Also, before you find out the truth, Wufu must not know about this," Wei Changqing added.

"Understood," Lin Shen nodded slightly.

Now he finally understood why Wei Changqing didn't want Wei Wufu to stay on the mother planet.

"Child, Wufu is fortunate to have a friend like you," Wei Changqing said as he stood up.

"Sir Qing, you have it the wrong way around. Having a friend like Wufu is my good fortune," Lin Shen corrected him.

"Good, very good," Wei Changqing smiled. "With you by his side, I am reassured. After you find out the truth, you decide whether or not to tell him."

Watching Wei Changqing leave, Lin Shen then closed the door and pondered where to start his investigation.

All the information Wei Changqing gave him was the name "Wei Jiayuan." The Wei Family had a unique way of naming their children, and for a woman to have such a name was quite unusual.

Aside from the name, Wei Changqing couldn't provide any more information. He only knew that after leaving the universe, Wei Jiayuan's first stop had been the Celestial Race.

Where Wei Jiayuan had gone after that, he hadn't been able to find out.

However, Wei Changqing did provide Lin Shen with a clue; Wei Jiayuan once mentioned that she had made a very good confidante in the universe. Perhaps some information could be gleaned from her.

All Wei Changqing knew was that Wei Jiayuan's confidante was named "Yi Fei," but which race she belonged to was unknown.

"The surname Yi, is it possible that old Wei's mother's confidante could be a Human?" Lin Shen mused to himself. It seemed that Yi was not a surname among the Celestial Race.

He himself did know a Human woman with the surname Yi, who seemed to be about the same age as Wei Jiayuan.

Of course, the Yi-surnamed woman Lin Shen knew was none other than Ye Yuzhen's mother, Yi Jingren's daughter.

Lin Shen originally planned to wait in Tiancheng until Wan Changqing and the others recovered, then explore the underground space to understand the nature of the Base Mutation site.

An urgent message from Tian Xun forced him to return to Sky Pinnacle Star first.

Lin Shen had no choice but to immediately leave the mother planet and, after several transfers via the Hai Mansion's teleporter, returned to Sky Pinnacle Star.

"What does the Heavenly Emperor want that he must have me come back? Could there be another opportunity to make money? Which planet does he want me to go to this time to make a fortune?" Lin Shen thought as he arrived at Splendid Palace. However, he did not see the Heavenly Emperor; instead, the Heavenly Consort was sitting alone at the main seat.
