"When did you leave the mother planet?" Lin Shen communicated directly with Tu Xiaodao.

"Not long after you left, I also departed from the mother planet. I'm now cultivating on Green Water Star and have reached Ten-stage Ascension," Tu Xiaodao said.

"You've attained Ten-stage Ascension so quickly?" Lin Shen was somewhat surprised.

Back when he battled the Wan Family, Tu Xiaodao seemed to be only at Second Turn Ascension, and in such a short time, she had already reached the Tenth Turn.

"It's not been quick. If it weren't for joining this interspecies ranking battle, I would have already entered Nirvana," Tu Xiaodao explained.

"Isn't it also possible to join the battle after achieving Nirvana?" Lin Shen asked.

"Joining the battle as a Nirvana Level ascendant, I'd have no advantage. But fighting at Ten-stage Ascension affords me some benefit over those below Ten-stage. "Are you still going to participate in the ranking battle? I've heard that the Wan Family will be joining as well, and that includes Wan Guliu," Tu Xiaodao shared a piece of news.

"Wan Guliu?" It took a moment for Lin Shen to remember, "Is he the Ascender from the Wan Family who escaped last time? I recall he's the younger brother of that Seventh Turn Ascender from the Wan Family."

"Right, that's him. I've got news that after Wan Guliu escaped, he went to the Interstellar Wan Family, somehow cozied up to Princess Catherine from the Di Man Tribe, and reaped huge benefits. "That Undefeated King... he might be my brother…" Lin Shen said reluctantly.

"What... The Undefeated King is your brother..." Tu Xiaodao was shocked, then rapidly added, "You mustn't let others know about this; otherwise, I suspect those top Ascendants will want to take you down too. No, you better not join the battle; it's too dangerous. Our brother's reputation is just too intimidating, truly hard to bear."

"That's exactly why I'm hesitating to join the battle," Lin Shen said with a wry smile.

"There's nothing to hesitate about, don't participate. Tell our brother not to join either," Tu Xiaodao advised.

"I can't contact him," Lin Shen pondered then added, "All right, I'll think about it some more."

Lin Shen intended to tell Tu Xiaodao that Ouyang Yudu would be participating in the battle but thought better of it. Ouyang Yudu's abilities were too peculiar, and Tu Xiaodao being with him might hinder both of their performances.

Lin Shen wanted to help his fourth brother, but he was also afraid of becoming a pariah in the universe.

He had been looked after all his life. Thinking about wandering the universe where everyone was an enemy was somewhat unbearable for him; he wasn't sure he could handle the hardship and suffering.

Yet he couldn't just ignore his fourth brother's affair.

As the elimination round was about to start, Lin Shen decided to first go in and see how things would play out.

After all, no one knew he was the brother of the Undefeated King. He planned to keep a low profile once inside. If his brother didn't show up, or if nothing significant happened, all the better. But if something did happen, he couldn't just watch his brother be besieged.

When the time came, a pinpoint of light once again appeared before Lin Shen, turning into a scroll, and the Elf Shadow flew out once again.

"The elimination round is about to begin, please confirm whether to enter the battlefield or not," the Elf Shadow asked Lin Shen.

"Enter," Lin Shen replied.

"Please confirm your race and name."

"Human... Tian..."

"Welcome to the elimination round, and I wish you good luck in achieving a high score," the Elf Shadow said with a beaming smile, blowing a halo of light at Lin Shen and then turning to fly towards the scroll.

Lin Shen felt himself being pulled into the scroll by a force, and then the scroll disappeared.

In the starry sky, strands of Cosmic Rainbow Light stretched out, creating a mirage-like mysterious spectacle, almost like a scroll spread across the stars.

Each planet could see these visions, and the scroll was divided into five areas, corresponding to the five levels: Base Mutation, Ascension, Nirvana, Immortal, and Realm King.

Inside each scroll, the images were of an independent planet, with the scroll displaying the entire planet's vista flatly.

On the other four planets, figures had already begun to appear. The Realm King's planet, however, remained empty.

No Realm King had emerged in this era, so the Realm King battles were essentially moot, with no contenders.

There were not many participants at the Immortal Level either, as the battlefields of the three other levels became increasingly populated.

On the Ascension Level planet battlefield, Lin Shen found that all his belongings had disappeared, and he was even without his own clothes, clad instead in a white battle suit he had never seen before.

Looking around, he saw that there were a few Ascenders nearby, all wearing the same white battle suits.

On the wrist of the battle suit was a device resembling a wristwatch, also displaying a countdown timer--seventy-two cosmic hours, which equated to three cosmic days.
