Chapter 437 Elite (9), Skills
'Alright, the skill is done.'
[Abyssal Impale]
_Type: Offense
_Description:
—> [Abyssal Gauntlet]: The medium designed to manifest and execute Void Impale. As its action also invokes the Punch concept, Void Impale will be further boosted by the Punch concept's effects.
|_ Minimum Cost: 10,000 Prana, 2000 Aethir Force.
—> [Void Impale]: A half-meter-long spear designed by Abyssal Gauntlet's mechanism and formation for pure destruction.
It contains the condensed power of an Aspect of Nihilir—Oblivion Impact, which is an inverse point of bent space with extreme gravitational force in a singular point where Flame's burn attribute and Death's decay attribute are highlighted and combined for a pure destructive essence. The Chaos concept is further applied there, which births an uncontrollable and volatile destructive energy.
Void Impale will release this destructive energy from its tip in a condensed manner and explode when impacted or triggered by the user.
|_ Minimum Cost: 18,000 Prana, 1300 Aethir Force.
—> [Impale Mark]: Impale Mark is a point of space marked by the user within the range of the Spiritual Aethir Gaze. Void Impale can directly teleport into the Impale Mark if it is present after executing it.
|_Minimum Cost: 100 Prana, 1 Aethir Force.
Erix nodded in satisfaction, 'Now time to make its Soul Vice and make it stronger.'
After thinking for a few seconds and remembering Nira's words on how Soul Vice was created, Erix started without further ado.
[Soul Vice—Abyssal Impale]
-1st Vice

—> Limitation: Void Impale Spear will only manifest through the Abyssal Gauntlet if I exert my 100% or more physical power when punching.
—> Effect: Relative boost in Void Impale Spear's power.
'This is simple and it should boost the power however it can by law and however much Soul Energy I use to boost it,' Erix nodded and then began writing its 2nd Soul Vice.
'I'll put a risky condition next. It should boost it further.'
-2nd Vice
—> Limitation: If no Impale Mark is present anywhere or if the Impale Mark is erased by someone after I execute Void Impale Spear, disable my right arm for one hour.
'This condition is risky enough since it's possible for someone to erase the Impale Mark. What effect should I give it?'
After thinking for a bit, Erix decided.
—> Effect: Upon impact of Void Impale through Impale Mark, all of its destructive essences should spread throughout target and target only, without leaking outside even a bit.
Erix grinned, 'This is hot.'
'Alright, that's it for now. I'll see if I want to make more Vices after testing it against Rin's defense.'
Meanwhile, Rin had also finished creating her skill and was making its Soul Vice.
[Temporal Bubble]
_Type: Defense
_Description:
—> [Chronace Matrix]: A matrix designed around Rin with Aethir's liberty, its effect is to produce Temporal Droplets and circular them, up to 10 at the minimum cast per millisecond within chaotic time flow.
|_Minimum Cost: 10,000 Prana, 3000 Aethir Force for construction of Chronace Matrix.
—> [Temporal Droplets]: These droplets have complex structures designed through Chronace Matrix that turns them into Temporal Bubbles. Each Temporal Droplet can be expanded into a Temporal Bubble, and more droplets can be superimposed to increase Temporal Bubble's power.
|_Minimum Cost: 2500 Prana, 250 Aethir Force per droplet.
—> [Temporal Bubble]: Temporal Bubble has a complex temporal chaos loop flows of two stages. The first stage extremely slows down any energy structure inside, and with the application of the Chaos concept's effects, the time flow becomes highly chaotic and drains foreign energy to fuel the chaos.
This structure is the core of all the loops that are created with a focus on Chronace element's Aspect: Airtemp Flow, where wind flow bends time in a tunnel manner for loops to keep energy structures inside while Chronace's offensive aspect: Dissolution Flow, dispersion of energies with its destructive lightning-induced and wind-shredded temporal flow to break them down fast to fuel Chaos swiftly, all while slowing down foreign energy's own activation and dispersion into any manner.
|_Minimum Cost: No Cost. It is the product of Temporal Droplets.
Rin had already decided on the Vice when she thought of the skill that filled up its weakness and further boosted its job—defense.
[Soul Vice—Temporal Bubble]
1st Vice
—> Limitation: Remove my willing control over the Temporal Droplets. I can not control them even if will, but I can decide how many Temporal Droplets should activate on an attack at once.
—> Effect: When a foreign energy, be it hostile or friendly, tries to aim at me, a Temporal Droplet must intercept that energy and activate it to trap it in the Temporal Bubble at the fastest.
'I am relinquishing my control over it, so it should achieve this effect at least. I won't get direct energy buffs from allies, but that's fine. This is absolute defense and I want it to activate at its fastest before anything can hurt me. Chronace Matrix is also set to slow down anything that enters inside to the slowest possible for an instant, so Droplets can have enough time to move.
'Next, let's enhance it.'
2nd Vice
—> Limitation: If energy breaks a formation in the Temporal Bubble and tries to break through outside, disable my limbs for 10 minutes.
—> Effect: In exchange, allow me to detonate the Temporal Bubble in my way.
Rin grinned.
'I lost my control over it, but with this, I can take control back in case my main defense fails, and detonate it for mutual destruction.'
Rin nodded in satisfaction. 'Let's see if Erix can break it.'
Just as she finished, Erix's voice rang in her ears.
"Babe, you finished?"
"Yep, perfect timing."
Erix and Rin laughed and flew up before keeping a distance of 100 meters between them.
"Bring it on," Rin smiled as an eccentric semi-transparent whirlpool with sparks that glowed and dimmed constantly but formed shapes of small clocks with eccentric designs appeared around her—Chronace Matrix.
"Alright," Erix chuckled, "My attack will be instantaneous, so be careful."
Erix's right arm covered in the Abyssal Gauntlet faintly shone on its patterns.
"Worry not, nothing can touch me with this defense," Rin said with a cheeky grin. "So, what's the energy consumption limit? Let's keep it the same."
"Alright, let's go with using a maximum of 100,000 Prana, 50,000 Aethir Force, and 50,000 Soul Energy."
"Sounds good."
Erix grinned, 'Alright then. Here it comes, bunny. Try to hop over it.'
'I'll take it on, my tiger,' Rin chuckled.
Erix punched forward with his full power and a millisecond after that, he established his Impale mark on the point of Rin's belly.
Rin felt this foreign mark affiliating her, but it was not up to her to do anything. Her Chroance Matrix already had 10 Temporal Droplets.
In an instant after she sensed the mark, a 50-centimeter metallic spear with dark purple and silver patterns that materialized when Erix punched appeared right in front of her, inside her Chroance Matrix.
But it absurdly slowed down while all ten droplets instantly struck it and trapped it. Rin appeared several meters away as she had already started moving when she sensed the mark.
'Damn! If he didn't warn me about it being instantaneous, I would have lost.' Rin's eyes glinted. 'If he strikes this to people out of nowhere, they are done for.'
But Rin had just finished forming her thought when her eyes further widened because her Temporal Bubble imposed by the power of a total of ten droplets barely held on for half a second before a loud explosion rang in mutual destruction.
A powerful wave of power shot towards her due to Abyssal Impale's effect, but it was considerably low-powered due to most of it being absorbed in mutual destruction.
"Damn, you defended?" Erix was dumbfounded. "I was expecting myself to revive you by now."
Rin rolled her eyes. "I was expecting to leisurely look at the attack. But it's so powerful, my bubble didn't even last a second."
"Hey, hey, you two!" Nira arrived while shouting, but her eyes were sparkling.
She immediately took out two different stones and said, "Evaluate your attacks here! With Full Power."
She saw their whole exchange, so knew both skills were super strong!
'Their Super Exotic Element's boost is so massive in here within a true skill since they can concentrate their specialties to the extreme. Damn, wish I had a Principle or a Primordial element,' Nira internally sighed in envy.'
"What do you think our skills power is?" Erix asked with a laugh as he and Rin flew towards Nira.
"Whatever it is, we should have roughly the same power," Rin grinned. "But we can further improve these two skills way more with Aethir's attributes."
"True, I also feel like we can improve it. We need to become more proficient in its attributes by practicing."
Both of them descended and arrived before Nira and her two stones.
"So how do I do this?" Rin asked in confusion. "I need an attack to use my defense."
"Don't worry. This stone will release a hostile orb at you. Just use your defense on it."
"Alright."
Nira activated the stone and it released an attack, prompting Rin's defense to activate as all ten droplets struck it and trapped it in the Temporal Bubble.
Meanwhile, Erix also released his attack towards the stone before him.
'Let's see where they stand for now,' Nira thought with anticipation in her eyes as she looked at both stones.
Aria, Sameira, and Kenshin also arrived to check out their first skills' power level.
Both stones glowed after their skill's effect finished as their evaluation began.
"My latest defense skill reached Stage 5," Aria said with a grin, "With 568,390 Power. It's my strongest for now."
"What about you two?" Erix asked Sameira and Kenshin.
"Well, we also finished a skill, so let's evaluate it after yours," Kenshin replied with a laugh.
"Yep," Sameira smiled.
"You two took an hour to finish your skills, so I guess you two really made it carefully," Aria said as she curiously looked at the stones. "They should be powerful."
The stones finally finished evaluation and showed the numbers.
