The night sky was ablaze with smoke and red sparkling ash. The ground appeared cracked as far as one could see, with lava-like liquid oozing out from everywhere. When they came into contact with exotic colorful stones and crystals, loud explosions would occur that would further add chaos to this baleful battlefield

This was the battlefield where Erix was having his final battle in the Punch Death Arena.

*Boom!*

Erix's half-body vanished with a bright red-colored punch, but he recovered instantly and threw a punch that caused a huge whirlwind to burst in front of him while shooting him back like a bullet.

'Damn it!'

The audience outside could see everything, with their cheers split between Hole Man and Sanguine Fist, but the fans of Hole Man and Sanguine Fist had different states of mind.

Because the battle was not in a stalemate.

*Boom!*

A torrent of bright red fists shot towards Erix and suddenly exploded, but their explosions strangely occurred around Erix.

Erix gritted his teeth and took the brunt of this attack instead of erasing the Sanguine Mark on himself.

Erasing the Sanguine Mark would consume his Aethir force, which he didn't want to waste.

But his regeneration power and sturdiness were at the top level due to his Bloodline and Race, so it was easier for him to recover from injuries swiftly.

"Hahaha, it's only a matter of time, brat!"

A demonic-looking slim old man with a bare upper body laced with glowing red symbols chased Erix while grinning ruthlessly. He had long gray hair into a long ponytail, but a shredded muscular body and a long gray beard.

His fists were wrapped in strange neon-red glowing gloves, pulsing with the extraordinary power of his Punch concept.

External items and consumables were indeed not allowed in this Arena, so those strange gloves were not items.

Those gloves were…Sanguin Fist's Conceptual Manifesto of his Punch concept.

Conceptual Manifesto meant one's Concepts would manifest into reality with the ultimate power of their concept in their ideal form—universally called Concept Gear.

Achieving Conceptual Manifesto would remove all effects and boosts of a concept, but give some new extreme effect based one's ideal Concept path.

It was Erix's first and last battle with this previous Punch Death Arena champion who had achieved Conceptual Manifesto in his Punch Concept.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Alas, Erix had already died once against this dreadful opponent that had pushed him to his desperation and infinitely close to true death.

Thankfully, his unique vitality structure due to his race saved him and he also activated his Bloodline's ability——> Undeath Aurelion Crown-Lvl 2: Increase stats by 150% of fundamental stats and grant you Paradox Spectrum Heart ->Paradox Spectrum Heart: increase your death power and life power at an increasing rate. -> Cost: 1 Blood Essence per minute.

Can consume more to enhance death power and life power at a higher rate.

The gloves were the main source of Erix's current predicament, where he was forced to constantly run to survive while achieving his goal—Conceptual Manifesto.

Suddenly, his whole body was covered in a punch that exploded due to Sanguin Fist's attack, bursting his body into pieces, but his body instantly recovered while he threw a fist that created two holes connected to each other—one right in front of him and another far away as he successfully escaped.

"Cockroach!" Sanguine Fist snorted as Erix. "But you'll run out of your Blood Essence eventually and won't gain that absurd recovery."

With Life and Death power at his disposal that gets boosted significantly with his bloodline, it was tough to kill Erix.

Of course, the audience was annoyed with Erix, mainly the fans of Sanguine Fist.

"Coward!"

"Fight head-on instead of running."

"Meh, no wonder he got the Hole Man title. He creates holes to escape."

Sanguine Fist had rained many successful attacks on Erix, and even a killing blow, but Erix would always recover instantly and just counter-attack in a way that would help him run far away from Sanguine Fist.

But Erix didn't have unlimited time, nor did he have unlimited Blood Essence to keep this up.

His maximum capacity of Blood Essence was 4000, and he had already spent half of it in the past hour.

Now he had one hour left and roughly 2k Blood Essence. If one hour passed by with no clear winner, a Death Exchange would start.

In Death Exchange, both of them would face each other at a fixed distance and attack at the same time. These attacks against each other would continue until one of them died.

"Die!"

Sanguine Fist released one more attack, which Erix tried to deflect with his own punch to prevent himself from complete destruction.

Over half of his body was still destroyed, but he vanished swiftly again, escaping successfully.

"Continue kissing my ass and wait," Erix snorted.

Sanguine Fist's face was dark as he continued while the audience continued with their boo.

The fans of Hole Man, however, were becoming hopeful as they heard him speak and taunt Sanguin Fist for the first time since the battle started.

"Put him in a Hole, Hole Man!"

"Drop him in the Hole!"

"Hole Man!"

Sanguin Fist continued with his onslaught on Erix, but he started feeling something was off.

'His makeshift skills are getting better and faster….what the hell?'

A hint of new emotion that he hadn't felt until now appeared. Desperation.

'I have to kill before he succeeds in his Conceptual Manifesto.'

Meanwhile, Erix's aura was also getting strange and calm, his expression turning serene.

An attack arrived, to which he only twirled his finger as a beam shot towards the glaring neon-red fist while he moved a bit.

His right shoulder and a major part of his stomach were obliterated, but he recovered and escaped easily.

The battle continued, but everyone was surprised to see Erix now handing himself way better against Sanguin Fist's attacks.

As ten minutes passed, Erix suddenly released a dreadfully powerful black aura and a phenomenon that shot through the sky, conjuring a vast and perfectly circular black hole with a sinister silver border around it.

Everyone understood what this aura and phenomenon meant.

"Conceptual Manifesto! Ladies and Gentlemen, he has done it!" the Anchor Monkey shouted, raising cheers and uproar in the huge stadium with multiple big screens.

Sanguin Fist's eyes flashed sharply as he didn't intend to give Erix a chance. 'He broke through, but that meant a chance for me to finish him off before he made use of his newfound power.'

Sanguin Fist's figure blurred as he roared and punched forward, turning him into a neon red beam as he shot forward and arrived right behind Erix.

However, Erix had already turned to him with a wide, a bit frightening smile on his face.

When Sanguin Fist saw Erix's eyes and the sheen deep within them, he instantly recognized that Erix didn't just achieve a Conceptual Manifesto in his Punch Concept!

'No…'

Sanguin Fist's punch penetrated Erix's stomach, but his eyes didn't show any delight. Instead, he felt pure despair.

'No way you awakened Mind Zone…'

'I did,' Erix sent his thought to Sanguin Fist because he knew what Sanguin Fist was thinking by glancing at his eyes.

Erix boosted his recovery and sturdiness by consuming 100 Blood Essence once before something happened in the next instant.

A black hole with a malevolent silver border appeared behind Erix—the ideal form of his Punch Concept as he achieved Conceptual Manifesto!

It instantly devoured both of them as Erix activated his skill sequence with his Concept Gear.

After a second when everything cleared up, only Erix remained floating in the sky.

Sanguin Fist…was completely obliterated.

For two full seconds after that, there was complete silence in the audience and even the Anchor Monkey's jaw dropped.
