It had been a few days since Zhao Li Xin meditated after absorbing the fire essence from the gifted people, as a result, he managed to increase his cultivation but because they were in the middle of a battle he didn't have time to circulate his Qi which detrimental to his foundation if he keeps doing it, fortunately, Zhao Li Xin was blessed with a unique body constitution which was why in the past he still able to cultivate despite being poisoned severely.

Zhao Li Xin sighs, he doesn't know if this spirit can be useful or not. Zhao Li Xin rests his arms behind his back and then follows the floating little light.

Even though the creature sounded unreliable, he was quickly able to find Zhao Li Xin's backpack amidst the intricacies of the path in the confusing labyrinth. The creature then explained that he could feel Zhao Li Xin's remaining traces on anything he came into contact with.

[Aahh...no matter how small it is, if it holds my master's scent, I can feel it with my whole body] The fire spirit proudly said. 'SMACK!' Zhao Li Xin clapped the fire spirit with both hands for the third time.

[Master, STOP IT!] The fire spirit finally snapped.

[You make me uncomfortable] Zhao Li Xin slings the backpack over his shoulder and then strides away coldly.

The fire spirit sighed [Master, with your temper how could you persuade Mistress to be your wife?]

Zhao Li Xin ignores the fire spirit's sarcastic remarks. However, seeing Zhao Li Xin's back getting farther away, the spirit got scared the cruel master would abandon him thus the spirit hurriedly chased after its temperamental master.

The fire spirit was indeed useful to locate the beasts with powerful fire essence, one of the beasts was called the Blazing firewolf. A forty-foot-tall monster covered with blazing fire, it was a perfect prey for Zhao Li Xin.

Unfortunately, his sword became useless against the intense heat of the beast, so Zhao Li Xin threw away his weapon and fought the beast with his bare hands, Soon after the Blue and orange flames swirled like snakes in the air like a snake trying to devour each other.

The wolves roared an ear-piercing sound that shook the entire cave, causing rubble and debris to fall from the cave ceiling, indicated how intense the fight become. On the side, the little fire spirit was excitedly cheering Master as it promised, [Go - Go - Go - Go master, Gooo!] n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

The beast screamed in pain as Zhao Li Xin landed a heavy punch on the beast's front face then with a lightweight skill he gracefully stepped into the air and slipped behind the beast after that he grabbed the wolf's tail then slammed the beast towards the labyrinth wall causing the wall behind to crumble down.

The beast swung its huge front leg towards Zhao Li Xin but it only managed to slash Zhao Li Xin's after image, then with light speed, it tapped the joint of the beast's leg even though it looked like a soft touch, but one could hear the sound of the beast's bones cracking.

The beast fell to the ground weakly while growling with blood dripping between its sharp teeth, Even though it was seriously injured, the beast's survival instincts refused to give up especially when the beast could felt immense danger standing right in front of it, therefore, the beast with great difficulty pulled itself up even though his legs were profusely trembles in pained.

Zhao Li Xin looked at the beast with empty eyes that were devoid of any emotions, Zhao Li Xin tilted his head watching the creatures struggle [Why keep fighting, beasts? I can make this easier for you...] The beast let out a long roar after which the flames on its body grew for a moment then suddenly exploded and the flames spread in various directions quickly, Zhao Li Xin crossed his arms and his blue flames immediately surrounded him protecting him from the beast's fire while the ground he was standing on shook violently as if hit by a major earthquake.

[Master you did it, come on this is your chance!] The fire spirit flew above the dying beast excitedly.

The beast fire pushed Zhao Lixin's immortal fire, so much that Zhao Li Xin coughed up blood, but it wouldn't be Zhao Li Xin if he gave in easily, with all his strength he released his Qi and the immortal blue flames spun like a giant drill that pushed the beast fire and completely devoured the fire wolf.

[Master you cannot kill it!] the fire spirit's voice suddenly appeared to remind him.

[Shut up!] Zhao Li Xin chided and immediately the fire spirit light dimmed again though only for a second.

Zhao Li Xin placed his palm on the dying creature, he took a deep breath then suddenly the bright red aura came out of the animal's body and then entered its body, meanwhile, the beast's body visibly dried once his essence drained from its body. This went on for almost half an hour before Zhao Li Xin managed to absorb all the essence from the fire wolf.
