Chapter 766: 760: I Want It All
Chapter 766: Chapter 760: I Want It All
“Inside there is the entire inheritance of thirteen Epic warriors.”
The Flameless Dark Dragon exhaled a stream of hot air, “Hand over our clan’s treasure, and my previous promises will still stand. These Star Rings which I have not unlocked are also yours; otherwise, I will grant you death.”
Upon hearing this, the little ones all looked towards David Jones, leaving the decision up to him.
“Huff!”
David Jones let out a breath of turbid air and said sternly, “I have to say, the price you’ve quoted is very sincere, and even I couldn’t help but be tempted.”
A smile appeared on the Flameless Dark Dragon’s face.
“But I refuse!” David Jones said calmly.
Feeling as though it had been played, the Flameless Dark Dragon’s expression changed immediately, and flames seemed to burn in its dragon eyes, “Are you sure you want to refuse my kindness?”
It was only because it took a liking to David Jones and had been brought the key for its own evolution that the Flameless Dark Dragon was reluctant to part with treasures it had acquired, even though it didn’t know how to extract them.
“Childish, only children do multiple-choice questions!”
With that said, David Jones stretched out his right fist and looked up at the Flameless Dark Dragon, “I want both the Star Rings and the Dragon Ball, for once I kill you, all these things will be mine!”
The Trainer Guild had an ironclad rule that Beasts that had eaten humans must be executed.
David Jones didn’t understand why the Flameless Dark Dragon, with its freakishly good qualities, sought to consume humans for its cultivation, but he was clear on one thing.
No matter how exceptional this Flameless Dark Dragon’s Talent was, and how powerful its bloodline, it was not suitable to become a Contract Pet.
If he were to forcefully make it so, he might suffer from the evil dragon’s backlash; he would rather take its Dragon Ball, let Rainbow absorb the power of both the Flameless Dark Dragon and the Crimson Dragon, and undergo a more perfect Evolution.
After all, Rainbow had no Fire Type on its body, and there was always a severe imbalance between the Ice-Fire Types within, needing a surge of exceptionally high-quality Fire power to neutralize it.
The original target David Jones had confirmed for acquiring fire was the Firewood Kylin that resided in the Mesona Space.
But now it seemed that, being a Dragon of Domination like the other, the power level of the Crimson Dragon was extremely high, and it might just help Rainbow cultivate a destructive power like never before.
“One Yamanano Brahma Dragon is troublesome enough; if there’s to be another Semi-Immortal Flameless Dark Dragon in the future, humanity might return to the wild ages when they were bred by Beasts!” Thinking this, David Jones’s eyes became even more resolute.
“Very well then!”
Hearing David Jones’ arrogant words, the Flameless Dark Dragon’s eyes flashed with ferocity, its body’s Dragon Scales started to flow with scalding Burning Stars, causing the temperature inside the Chaotic Fire Cave to rise sharply.
It wanted to use absolute power to kill David Jones’ Pets, shatter his Psychic, control his will, and seize the Dragon’s treasure.
Booming sounds erupted!Nôv(el)B\\jnn
As the Flameless Dark Dragon started to move, chunks of scorching magma fell like flowing fire from the sky, turning the whole world into a blazing sea of fire.
Subsequently, the Chaotic Fire Cave began to collapse, and an Emperor Dragon with a body tens of thousands of meters long and covered in reverse scales appeared directly before the eyes of people, exuding an earth-shattering and ghost-deity-alarming Dragon Domination.
“What kind of Emperor Dragon is that?”
Observing the terrifying Beast shadow that suddenly appeared in the distance, the Epic warriors who were watching the battle from the Skyrock Volcano Group couldn’t help but express their astonishment.
This was a formidable Dragon image that made even powerful trainers shudder in fear.
On its head were a pair of ferocious dragon horns that curved backwards towards the sky. Upon closer inspection, these two massive horns were composed of countless small curved horns, studded densely with incredibly sharp spikes, as if they could pierce through stars and tear apart the galaxy.
The dark reverse scales emitted chaotic fire-type fluctuations, and beneath limbs as if cast in copper and iron were five sharp flame dragon claws.
The incredibly hard dragon scales combined with intense flames formed a pair of black dragon wings that, under the sunlight, faintly burst forth with crimson light. At the slender end of the dragon tail, there was a light red flame cloud linked to the rules.
“Hiss!”
Like a calamity descending, the enormous Emperor Dragon instantly made all the strong fighters present take in a cold breath.
However, the next second, to their surprise, they found that around the Emperor Dragon, there were six dragon pets with various attributes all bursting with momentum, ready to join forces against the enemy.
“What’s going on?”
“Don’t know, maybe some epic fighter had a brain fart and plans to use a Class VII Overlord pet to challenge and defeat a Class VIII Emperor.”
“Isn’t that just seeking death?” a fighter said with furrowed brows.
“What nonsense, what if they’re a once-in-a-lifetime genius and they actually succeed?” joked someone else.
“How could that be possible, the gap between a Class VII Overlord and a Class VIII Emperor Dragon is like heaven and earth; not to mention six Class VII Overlords, even ten or a hundred wouldn’t be able to kill a Class VIII Emperor Dragon!”
One word difference, a world apart.
A Class VIII Emperor and a Class VIII Emperor Dragon could almost be said to exist in two different dimensions.
The former possesses overwhelming strength, crushing Class VII Overlords, while the latter is a top-grade existence that can dominate among Class VIII Emperors.
Throughout human history, there have been a few exceedingly talented individuals who managed to defeat a Class VIII Emperor with Class VII strength, such as the Origin Emperor who founded a country.
But one who could defeat a Class VIII Emperor Dragon with Class VII strength, to this day, there has not been a single recorded instance.
Thus, it’s no wonder all the strong fighters believed that there was an epic Trainer courting death!
“No, wait, something’s off about this momentum! Those aren’t six Class VII Overlords, but two Class VII and four Class VI Overlords!” someone exclaimed.
The Flameless Dark Dragon’s strength was too overpowering, and coupled with the distance, he nearly misjudged the strength of the battling sides.
“It’s also possible that the Trainer just had bad luck and ran into the Emperor Dragon, with nowhere to escape and no choice but to fight to the death.”
Upon hearing this, a few epic fighters showed looks of pity, thinking that this might be the most accurate guess; yet still, no one offered help.
Randomly saving someone is one thing, but risking one’s life to save an unknown Trainer was not something many present were willing to do.
The reason was simple; although there were seven epic fighters gathered here, seeming mighty in strength, if they really went to save someone from a Class VIII Emperor Dragon, it would be like a kamikaze mission, where not even one of the seven might survive.
Of course, there might be one exception!
With this thought, everyone simultaneously turned their gazes toward an epic fighter nearby with dark skin and thick lips.
At the moment, Jim Harvey clenched his fists tightly, his eyes filled with conflict, and he occasionally lowered his head to communicate with his pet, clearly wanting to save the person but unwilling to let his pet join him in what seemed like a certain death.
The red-haired strong fighter stepped forward, patted Jim Harvey’s shoulder, and then slightly shook his head.
The Frost Wyvern, Mecha Dragon Emperor, and Destiny Dragondoll were all unique and iconic pets that could not be impersonated, belonging only to David Jones.
Actually, everyone knew who the unlucky Trainer was, but no one spoke out, fearing that Jim Harvey would senselessly throw his life away.
“Fraser, take good care of them.”
In the end, Jim Harvey made up his mind, handed the Star Ring to the red-haired strong fighter, and then rode the Nine Tripods Flame Eagle towards the direction of the Emperor Dragon.
What do you think?
