Chapter 258: Process of Crafting Innate Geno Gears
Chapter 258: Process of Crafting Innate Geno Gears
Aleron read the memories of those elders, and fortunately, he found more things than what he already knew.
The first thing was that the top leaders of Prosper Path Alliance were busy making the weapon. Without it, they wouldn't be able to use the Genesis batteries.
Another thing was that the matter regarding the lower cosmos realm was handled by executives of divine seats. These twenty people were sending people and directing the whole lower cosmos absorbing plan.
They were in charge of creating batteries.
'Hmmm, I have to stop them first. According to the memories, the executives are Supreme- rank as well,' Aleron's eyes glinted, his fist tightly clenched. 'I have to make my people more powerful at a fast speed, or they will destroy the remaining lower cosmoses.'
There was no time to waste.
Aleron began following the tasks.
The first thing was Innate Geno Gears. He just needed to make one.
Aleron's body suddenly oozed out a neon ghastly silver-green aura with an orange hue as he used a skill.
-Exclusive Mystic Skill:
-> Spectral Forge Mastery: Enables the Artisan to summon a forge within the ethereal realm, allowing the creation of weapons, armor, and constructs that exist between dream and reality. Crafted items possess phantom-like qualities, intangible until willed into physical form by the wielder.
His consciousness arrived in the ethereal realm made by his second Mystic Path.
'Combine.'
Aleron used the Primordial Genome Whisperer class, summoning the ethereal realm it produces as well, combining both realms into one.
Genome Pool, door to Realm of Genomes, and the Phantom Artisan Spectral Forge.
He had already learned the workings of Innate Gears. He knew how they were crafted and what kind of powers and materials it required to create them.
Innate Gears materials were a mixture of a blacksmith's own power to give "idea" and body parts of chaotic beasts. Those blacksmiths would use these strangely created materials to craft the Innate Gears.
Of course, the strongest Innate Gears couldn't be crafted. There were a few legendary blacksmiths who had reached the level of crafting best quality Innate Gears in the past, but there was no such blacksmith present in the current time. Even then, the legendary blacksmiths of the past couldn't reach the same level of Innate Gear crafting as the Sovereign Innate Gear set that the special dungeons in the 5th region gave as the final reward.
Those were truly next level, only able to be produced by Chaosverse itself, who actually had aid from multiverse's laws, making it impossible for Blacksmiths at Supreme-rank to craft them.
Becoming Broken-rank with an Eternal's help meant leaving Chaosverse to fight against the First Labyrinth's final boss, which always resulted in failure, so those who left could not return. They would either die or start living in the multiverse realm.
But Aleron was already a Broken-rank in a way due to awakening Genome Tree on his own, as Genome Tree was the indicator of one being in a Broken-rank.
Now that he gained knowledge of Innate Gears, with his already high proficiency in Geno Gears, he was going to craft a new type of gear in this exotic Phantom Artisan Spectral Forge.
He first started collecting Genome Mods after entering Realm of Genomes, destroying the Living Genomes present inside. He was ultra proficient in this since he had been doing this almost every day. With 50,000 Genome Pulse consumed in his hunt, he could easily collect 50 Genome Mods as compared to the 26 he collected in his first try, which exhausted 100,000 Genome Pulse.
[Primordial Genome Whisperer]
|_Job-class Rank: Supreme-order
|_Level: 2 [218/1000 Geno Exp ]
|_Status Bonus:
-> Physical stats +500%.
|_Energy Source:
-> Genome Pulse: [150,000/200,000]
-> 2.5 genome pulse recovery per second.
|_Skill Tree:

-> 3. Geno Gear Artisan.
Reaching the second level in this class only increased his Genome Pulse, but that was a good enough boost. It was also sealed and ceiled at Supreme Order, so it couldn't give him more things while he was in Chaosverse anyway.
After collecting Genome Mods, he didn't make Geno Gears but brought them into the Forge.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
He didn't have chaotic beasts' parts at first, but his spatial pocket was getting filled up with them every second since he had sent Astral to go on a hunt for the chaotic beasts away from the city, and since their Spatial Storage could be connected, Aleron was directly getting the materials that Astral collected.
'Let's start.'
The forge's flame increased in intensity as he consumed Chakra energy and threw the chaotic beasts' parts in them.
This forge's flame was unique. It could refine material in a way that it would become a Spectral Material, becoming intangible and tangible at Aleron's will and opening a unique way of molding it. Something that only Aleron could make because of this Mystic Path.
He knew how to make Innate Gears after researching it, so he was going to craft Innate Gear with the spectral material.
After he refined the first batch of materials by consuming all Chakra energy, Aleron picked up some materials after identifying their attributes.
He then picked Genome Mods that he believed would be suitable to the materials he picked and infused the Mods directly into the material.
'Let's see what happens if I do this first.'
The Genome Mods were tiny, uniquely shaped things based on their exotic powers. Usually, he would throw a bunch of Genome Mods into the Genome Pond and use Genome Weaving skill to unravel those Mods using Genome Pulse energy and combine them, shaping them into a single Gear with exotic effects produced from Genome Mods.
'Good. I expected that this would work since chaotic beasts are a type of organism without a proper soul, and Genome Mods are also a unique type of living thing.'
[Gachapi: Noice! What are you going to do now, Master?]
The Genome Mod had fused with the material. It wasn't doing anything, but it was just living inside the material, making the material itself alive as it wiggled and started to take shape
automatically.
'Since this worked, then it's time to use the Genome Pond.'
Aleron fused Genome Mods into more materials and then threw all the materials into the
Genome pond.
'I can't unravel the Genome Mods power in the spectral forge. I have to do it in the Genome Pond,' Aleron's eyes glinted as he smiled, 'But I will not combine and shape them here.' Aleron consumed Genome Pulse and started unraveling the Genome Mods that were fused
into the materials.
The materials started trembling in the pond, glowing and growing absurdly. They transformed as the Genome Mods' unraveled powers completely fused with the materials. But Aleron also exerted his focus to properly shape these new types of materials in the making into a solid metal-like shape so that he could then forge them into Spectral Forge.
A draconic scale fused with Vampiric Black Sun Mod transformed into an exotic ingot, pulsing with unique patterns and oozing out power.
'Damn, I'm getting excited.'
Aleron started shaping all the materials unraveled with Genome Mod into ingots and was
done after an hour, acquiring 14 exotic Ingots.
Bringing them into the Spectral Forge, Aleron picked up the unique but big hammer that was the same size as his new height and stood in front of the spectral anvil.
The first step was visualizing what kind of gear he wanted to craft and what material would be
best suited to that type of gear.
Inversely, he could also select a material first and then create an item to bring out the
material's potential to the maximum.
He went with the latter as he picked up an Ingot made from a chaotic beast's heart that had
unraveled attributes of Necrospire Coil Mod.
'Let's start with this.'
Aleron closed his eyes after putting the ingot on the big anvil and stood silently in peace,
imagining, visualizing, and constructing a gear of his desire that would bring out this ingot's
power to the maximum.
'It could be a Back slot gear or a stomach slot...'
As he was thinking, the exotic hammer in his hand was glowing, its patterns changing. The data he was visualizing in his mind was adjusting the hammer because the way to forge with his Mystic Path wasn't like normal Blacksmiths.
This step was the most important. He had to brain-smelt the entire process in his mind, which would automatically modify and input the data into this exotic hammer.
The way of forging as a Phantom Artisan of Ethereal Forge was different. This was his unique way, suitable to him, made for him, manifested by him, by his thirst for creating and innovating new things.
Aleron simply stood for half an hour in absolute silence before he grabbed the hammer with
both hands and raised it up.
His gaze was focused as he looked at the ingot on the anvil and kept a proper distance so that the hammer's center would strike it perfectly.
A second later, his body was perfectly calm as spectral breath released from his mouth before his expression exerted to full and shouted while slamming down the hammer.
"Haaa!"
*Claaang!!*
The hammer struck and embedded the ingot onto the spectral anvil. It was already taking shape under the hammer, while the spectral anvil was like clay, molding according to its shape to accommodate the ingot's rapidly changing shape under the Hammer's mystical
powers.
When Aleron felt that the process was finished, he finally raised the hammer and saw an exotic dark brown leather belt with a metallic dark green skull carved with black spiral patterns at its
center.
Aleron's eyes widened, 'Did I suc-'
*Boom*
The belt shattered into pieces as it turned into motes and vanished.
"Heh, I wasn't expecting to succeed on the first try anyway," Aleron grinned as he rolled up
his sleeve and put another ingot on the anvil.
