[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor

After meeting up with the duke Magan and leaving his territory, Phantasia had went and disappeared as the duke observed from the window.

"…."

(This isn't good.) – though duke Magan.

(We knew that the church is supporting the first prince, but to think they are planning something big…. To the point they even went and tried to kidnap Phantasia in the brought daylight…. It's just doesn't make any sense like he said.)

(However the problem is that this guy informations were solid last time and we confirmed pretty much everything he said and would there be really wouldn't be any benefits from him telling me lies, since he doesn't want to make enemies with the other factions. He even gave the wooden mask to me and I realized he wanted to have a meeting in secret and stuff.)

(Not only that, if the situation he told me about is the truth, regarding the sudden and weird attempt at kidnapping him as well as then disappearance of the arrested bandits… Then it shouldn't take long for me to find out if it's a truth. Meaning that if he lied to me, I would discover that it was a lie way too quickly…... I think he is telling the truth, but still, I need to look into it myself.)

(But the church really doing something like that behind the scenes?)

(Honestly, it both doesn't make sense, but also at the same time it make sense and there is also a good and valid reason why would the church do some shady stuff.)

(There is also the fact that apparently, they tried to kidnap Phantasia…. A crafter of his skills are something a lot of nobles and merchants would love to have…. But why target him specifically?)

(Are they aiming for the crafters? Adventures goes in and out, so nobody would really bat an eye if some of them were to disappear…. Shit.)

(I know I need to still investigate this, but I have no choice! I need to report this to the princess ASAP!)

While the duke was thinking about the current situation, Phantasia was just chilling in the nearby bar.

(I wonder if he panicking or something?) – though Phantasia while looking at the map and also wearing a hooded clock so nobody would recognize him.

(I wonder if he will realize that the informations I just provided him with were mostly made up? I straight up lied as I breath expect for the fact that I was attacked in the middle of the day in the city as well as the bandits disappearance. Besides that, I straight up told him an completely made up and bullshit story.)

(It did took me some time to make up this bullshit story, but it turned out great.)

(Duke Magan isn't stupid and if anything, he is smart and that is his problem.)

(I looked up a situation within the church and found out that they started being only very active after the plague bear attack and them starting to support to first prince.)

(Not only that, the church had lost a lot of power and regaining the power would be one of the main motives they could possibly have.)

(However, if we throw in the Doctor with the informations that he is working for either first prince or the second prince as well as the info I just gave him, he will start to think that the church and the first prince are the ones that hired the Doctor.)

(Even if he doesn't come up with this conclusion, he could still inform the princess regarding this and this informations will cause an quiet bit of confusion among them and their faction.)

(However, obviously sooner or later my lies will be exposed and that would mark the "Phantasia" as an very suspicious suspect that had intentionally gave false informations.)

(So, the best way to keep up the lie?)

(MAKE UP SOME REAL STORY THIS TIME!)

[Some time later: City of Pidgeon]

"Hey. Did you heard rumors apparently going around recently?" – asked human player.

"Hm? Wait, you mean the ones regarding the Doctor and the two princes?" – asked the beastman player.

"Yea… Do you think its true? I mean, only the first princess factions have been ever attacked and stuff, so it would make sense, right?" – said the human player.

"Hm… Yea, but…. I mean… How do I say it…. Would they really hire an fuking terrorist to win the crown?" – replied the beastman with his own question.

"Well, some people are greedy and there is often an scenarios in the novels or mangas and manhwas where there is a faction war for the crown where one faction is total evil and stuff, so wouldn't that make sense for it to be scenario here?" – said the human player.

"So then- "

"?"

"Wait, do you hear that?" – asked the beastman player.

"?"

"…..."

"Yea…... I hear that…... Is that music?" – said human player.

"Hm?"

"Hey look." – said the human player while pointing at the small group of people that seemed to be looking at something. Your next read awaits at empire

"The sound is coming from there."

"…. Huh."

The two players approached the small group of people and upon approaching them, they saw a colorful box right in front of them that had been playing music.

"…Em… Excuse me… But what is that?" – asked the beastman player.

"I don't know." – said the beastman civilian.

"It just popped up here out of a blue."

"…Huh…. Hm?"

"Hey, isn't that a lever on its side?" – asked the human player who noticed the moving lever that spined around.

Suddenly, the top of the box opened up and the giant string popped out the box.

However, when the spring popped out, all of the people that had gathered up ended up being cut in half, both players and NPCs.

The box itself has stopped playing music and the only thing that could be heard right now was nothing more than chuckles.

The people who weren't right next to the box had saw what just had happened and began screaming and terror.

What they saw was a jester monster attached to the spring that was wielding a giant scythe and was giggling like madman.

However, this wasn't the end as more toy monsters as well as chimera monsters began appearing through the city, spreading havoc around.

But-

"What the hell is going on here?!" – said the man in the brown armor.

"!"

"I-its paladin!"

"Its paladin Marvan!" – said the beastman citizen.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"How the hell monsters got in here?!" – said the paladin, Marvan.

"W-we don't know! There was a box a-and then and then!"

The paladin put his hand on the panicking citizen.

"Please run away, we will handle this." – said the paladin as he stepped forward.

"…."

"LISTEN UP MEN!" – yelled Marvan.

"PROTECT THE CITIZEN AND GET RID OF THESE MONSTERS AT ANY COST!"

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"

"YES SIR!" – replied the paladins behind Marvan.

With the appearance of the paladins of the Glory And Fang church, the monsters that had invaded the Pidgeon city had been dealt with and not only that, but the amount of damage as well as injuries caused by these monsters were kept to the minimum, resulting in the perfect defense of the city.

However, the news regarding the incident obviously spread.

The Doctor had made his move and has send his toy and chimera monsters to attack the Pidgeon city.

However, because of the paladins of the Glory And Fang church, the Doctor plan had been stopped and not only that, but this is the first ever settlement that had survived the Doctor attack, causing the entire incident to gain more attention of many people.

And unfortunately, this was the part of the Doctor plan.
