Chapter 50 Going All Out II

'How is that possible?!' Aisha stared at Christopher's back with wide eyes. Even from where they were and the members of his cohort protecting them from the possible aftershocks, she could still feel the blistering heat coming off him.

'Is he truly just at the Red Rank?' She couldn't help but wonder as the pressure he gave off was simply suffocating. Experience new stories on empire

What she didn't know was that Christopher was in fact at the Purple rank, but they couldn't tell due to the masking he placed over himself, however, that wasn't all as not only was his magic attribute the all encompassing Magic Helix. He also had a physique at the Low Unparalleled stage. As such, his pure physical strength and magical capabilities were simply on another level.

Coupled with his knowledge and control of runes, the artifacts he created, and just his own imagination, Christopher was a force to be reckoned with.

The clones he created were made after he analysed the runes that made up his body. Then he made each one to be centered around a certain attribute, the one with icy blue hair could use ice and wind while the other one with green hair could use Nature and Earth magic.

They were also fitted with powerful Artifacts of their own. It was clear that Christopher had no interest in holding back for any reason this time and was truly going all out.

Seeing the two closest attackers get beheaded so easily, everyone paused slightly, a hint of wariness in their eyes.

The leading Voidwalker then turned to the one dragon in their ranks.

"Kill him, the rest of us will deal with the others." The dragon who was blue in colour nodded.

His gaze was calm and condescending, clearly not seeing Christopher as a true match for him.

Seeing his agreement, the Voidwalkers and traitors immediately moved to attack the weakened party of people.

However, the green Clones' staff shone and it pointed upwards.

Mana exploded outwards and far faster than what should have been possible, a massive translucent Emerald Tree began to manifest with the clone at the base. In just an instant, it grew to be hundreds of meters tall with an incredibly thick trunk that shone brightly. The tree's canopy nearly touched the top of the barrier that was surrounding the island. Its presence alone released a terrifying pressure that stunned many of the people there.

The attackers immediately halted in their tracks seeing the massive magical construct blocking their way, their faces turning solemn as everyone knew that even with their combined efforts, they wouldn't be able to break past it in a short amount of time.

Then suddenly, huge branches and whips began to shoot towards the group with speeds that shouldn't have been possible for their size. Each one carrying enough force to flatten a large mountain with ease. And that wasn't all as tiny but incredibly sharp earth shards were spinning around each branch and fine, meaning that not only did they carry incredible blunt force, but they also shredded anything they came into contact with. A terrifying combination.

"Move!" One of the Voidwalkers shouted and the entourage started to avoid the massive branches frantically as none of them wanted to know what getting hit by any of those branches would feel like.

However, it didn't stop there as suddenly, the blue clone appeared on top of the massive tree, an arrogant smirk on his face as he looked down at the struggling forces of the traitors and Voidwalkers.

He snapped his fingers and a large magic circle appeared even higher than the top of the tree, it was ice blue and light grey in colour.

Energy radiated from the circle as a moment later, dark clouds began to emerge And cover a portion of the sky, furious winds blowing at the same time.

And a moment later, the wind became deathly cold as ice Shards started to rain down from the clouds. The Shards were incredibly sharp and fad, far too much. And despite being small, each of them moved even faster than the branches. If one wasn't careful, they'd be cut to shreds in an instant.

"What the hell is this?!" One of the traitors, a bird person, shouted with confusion and anger. The pressure was incredible and none of them were given anytime to bring out their true strength to properly resist this onslaught.

Then suddenly, a black light passed by the bird person and they froze. A bloody line appeared on their neck before their head fell off. And a moment later, their body was crushed by a vine.

Unseen by anybody, a third clone was lurking around the newly created battlefield and reaping lives like a silent hunter. This clone embodied the magic of Darkness and Sound and wielded two terrifying sickles.

While its two counterparts moved in the open, it was completely and utterly silent. No massive or Flashy moves were used as it simply reaped lives like a phantom.

"Interesting. For a human, you're a lot more exceptional than I'd have possibly imagined." The blue Dragon said calmly as it floated down to Christopher's level.

Christopher didn't say anything and simply brandished Scarlet, the black lightning and red annihilation energy surged around the length of the blade.

'This human is very dangerous.' Despite his calm outlook, the dragon was very wary of Christopher.

'His exceptional use of Mana aside, I've never seen elemental fusion used so seamlessly before. Those white flames can cleave through my scales with ease, and the black lightning can deal soul damage from what I can tell. And that red energy, that's probably the most dangerous thing. Not to mention that mask of his that's playing at my perception and the poison that's surrounding him.' He thought as Christopher walked towards him calmly.

Then he vanished.

The Dragon immediately went on guard and bent his body, and a moment later, a blade covered in black and red energy flashed above him.

Following the slash was a torrent of black lightning and annihilation that flowed out of the blade with terrifying force. Space instantly got sliced apart and the sheer energy release made the surrounding reality unstable.

The Dragon retreated in a blink and willed the Mana it's his body to move. Water surging to create countless spears that shot towards Christopher.

Christopher simply teleported past them and behind the Dragon and swung his sword at his neck. But the creature summoned his claws and managed to deflect the blade.

Despite this though, he grimaced as black lightning zapped on his claws and moved down, but he quickly managed to expel them using his Mana.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

A moment later, the bodies of the two blurred before zipping across the arena, each exchanging countless blows in the span of a few seconds and unleashing devastating aftershocks that shook the entire island.

Those that could see what was happening were amazed and shocked. The two seemed to be ensnared in a deadly dance as they didn't just male use of magic. Their martial capabilities were exceptional as well, in fact, they were downright terrifying.

The stronger one became, the more tactical they would have to be in a fight. Especially ones where they couldn't just crush their opponent with raw strength alone.

Each move had to be calculated. Each step needed to be precise, and they absolutely could not fail to properly read their opponent's movements for any reason as the slightest mistake could mean death.

And this battle was an example of all these points.

Christopher moved like a Mirage, his sword leaving confusing afterimages as his attack speed was on another level. And coupled with his ability to use multiple different types of magic, especially space, the dragon soon fell under a clear disadvantage.

'Dammit! I can't break out!' The Dragon cursed in his mind. No matter what he tried, Christopher had completely ensnared him in his flow, leaving him with no room to even retreat, talk less of counterattacking.

Gradually, wounds started to appear on the Dragon's body, each causing it to stifle a wince as not only did they shred right past it's natural defences, but even the smallest cut could cause serious damage if he wasn't diligent in expelling the energy that entered his body.

Meaning that not only was he occupied with resisting Christopher's onslaught, but he also had to worry about resisting theBaleful energy that got past his defenses.

It was both infuriating and nerve-wracking.

Then all of a sudden, the Dragon's eyes widened as it found itself unable to move. Both space and gravity were restricting it to a very much frightening degree. Like it was trying to move while its body was encased in hardened steel.

Without any hesitation, Christopher swung his blade towards the Dragon's neck. Aiming to behead him in a smooth fashion.

Seeing the blade grow closer, the Dragon gritted his teeth before sighing.

Christopher narrowed his eyes and teleported away. His stance tight.

Space seemed to tremble as a moment later, the dragon calmly broke out of his restrictions and walked forward.

"I will admit, I underestimated you. You forced me to do this." Then he grinned as his body began to change.

"But it's fine. There's no shame in going all out against a worthy opponent."
