She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 689 Something Funny

After a while, all of the guards had also gathered near that barn. They were busy tending to the tired and some scared horses. And they were tying them up and letting those horses rest.

Damien had unwillingly accepted his defeat since no one was willing to recognize him as the victor.

And now that the matter was settled, and no one was shaving their head, they were getting ready to head towards the town.

But before that, they had to find clothes and shoes for Niylah.

"Shall I rush to the town and pick up something for you? For temporary use?" Ariel asked Niylah. Stay tuned for updates on empire

However, Damien suggested something better to Ariel, "Why don't you teleport to the castle with Niylah? It will take less time to find the clothes and shoes since… it's already there."

Ariel slapped her on her forehead and smiled, "Right! I completely forgot about that."

Ariel then went and stood next to Niylah and Ramon. She held out her hand for Niylah. And when Niylah held her hand, she looked at the boys and said, "We will be back soon."

She then looked at Niylah and asked, "Ready?"

Niylah took a deep breath in and nodded her head.

Ariel closed her eyes and then focused her mind on the common room of Kenneth's castle. She felt the energy surging through her body. It had been a while since she had teleported. So she was trying her best to focus her mind on that common room so that she wouldn't end up teleporting somewhere else.

But right when she was about to teleport, she heard Damien scolding Zach since Zach kept on teasing him saying that he now needed to grow horns since he lost the race.

And the image of the common room in her mind changed to the image of Damien in a towel.

Ariel inhaled sharply and then quickly opened her eyes, embarrassed at herself for thinking about Damien in his vulnerable state.

But when she opened her eyes, she saw Damien standing right in front of her. Not just Damien, but Zach was also right there. And they were looking at her and Niylah with a confused looks on their faces.

"Why are these two here?" she thought to herself.

"Er…" Zach raised one of his brows and asked with all seriousness, "You two are already back? I didn't think you would return this soon when you said 'we will be back soon' just moments ago."

Ariel frowned at Zach and scolded him, "Don't come here and disturb me when I am trying to concentrate here."

Damien then chuckled and said to Ariel, "Ary, you were the one who came to us. I think you teleported here by accident."

"For real?" Ariel looked around.

Niylah pointed at Ramon who was standing a little further away from them. He was standing beside them a while ago. And she said, "Yeah, I think we teleported here."

Ariel finally realized that Damien and Zach didn't come and stand in front of them. Instead, she and Niylah were the ones who had teleported in front of Damien, rather than inside the common room.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Zach leaned closer to Ariel and then asked her, "So, did you think about Damien or did you think about me while teleporting?"

Ariel knitted her brows and shut Zach down, "No one. I was nervous. Now maintain absolute silence." She then immediately closed her eyes and focused on the common room again.

Damien was biting his lower lips and was trying not to smile while looking at the flustered face of Ariel. Zach, on the other hand, was clasping his mouth and he was trying to control himself from bursting into laughter.

Ariel and Niylah finally disappeared from there after a few moments.

Zach instantly burst into laughter. And he mumbled while laughing, "Ariel is so funny. She was the one who teleported in front of us. And she was the one who scolded us. I just can't…"

He laughed and coughed for quite a while.

And when he finally stopped, he started pestering Damien again, "Hey, you know you lost, right. You have to grow horns now. Anyhow."

Damien put his arm around Zach's neck and then put him in a chokehold. And he playfully threatened Zach, "You know what? Maybe I will break your fingers and then stick them on my head if you say that one more time."

Zach coughed and then restlessly tapped on Damien's arm. "I apologize! I apologize! Now leave me."

Ramon also joined those two to have a chat.

Kenneth had gone to take a look around the barn. He came back to see the three boys laughing and playfully punching and beating each other. And he couldn't help but yearn for that closeness.

"Kenny!" Zach suddenly waved at him and called, "Come over here! Why are you standing there alone?"

The corner of Kenneth's lips slightly curved upward. "Coming!" he shouted back and reached there in no time.

"Now he is Kenny?" Ramon looked at Kenneth and laughed. "Ken was bearable… But Kenney is just too much. Oh my goodness! It sounds so funny…"

Kenneth frowned at Damien and blamed him for calling him that. "Hey, I told you not to call me that!"

Damien shrugged and nonchalantly replied, "I am not calling you Kenny at the moment. But I think it kinda sticks."

Zach grinned and agreed with Damien, "Yeah, it suits you. I'm calling you Kenny from today."

Kenneth squinted his eyes at Damien. And he asked Zach while pointing at Damien, "If you're calling me Kenny then call him Demmy."

"Pfff… hahahahaha…" Ramon burst into laughter again. "Demmy? Seriously? That's even funnier!"

Zach then rhymed his own name as well as Ramon's. "Then I will be Zemmy and Ramon will be Remmy from today."

Kenneth also burst into laughter after hearing those rhyming nicknames.

Even Damien was laughing out loud now, even though he tried to stop himself from laughing. And he asked while holding his stomach and laughing, "Oh, what the hell? What is wrong with us? Did we eat or drink something intoxicating? Or did we smell something funny?"
